Celebrating our anniversary, 32 Years later and sharing the evening with love of my life as we drove in search of some place new and different for dinner that evening. We came upon this new quaint little restaurant in Chambersburg, PA and decided to stop in for dinner. We had never had experienced a restaurant where you cooked your own meal at your table on a grill! In my opinion an extremely genius idea, while offering an AMAZING experience for even individuals dining along but OH SO SPECIAL for couples too! Now for families imagine spending time together cooking inside your table grill or hot pot as your children assist! It definitely makes family dinner time more enjoyable and fun while eliminating mobile devices from dinner time. Menu options include but not limited to several styles and seasoning of steak, chicken and seafood too!! Other more specialty meats like pork belly and more! Many choices of appetizers, ALL you care to eat! When choosing the BBQ option, after selecting the meats desiring to grill at the table, customers are instructed to visit the fresh vegetable buffet to next choose the wide array of vegetables to grill alongside the selected meats. Ice cream is available for dessert!! Wow! It was ALL ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Even though it was our first time experiencing this type of restaurant… the waiter was phenomenal and did an excellent job at explaining the concept and process. The meats are of excellent quality and overall very good value for lunch or dinner.

My family recently visited and their experience left much to be desired. While they went in with an open mind, the overall visit was disappointing due to confusing policies and mediocre food (not their cup of tea). They had a party of two, and each ordered a bundle priced at $35. While the initial cost seemed fair, the issue arose when they tried to take home their leftovers. The restaurant refused to provide a doggy bag, claiming they operate like a buffet. This policy didn’t sit well with my family. If you pay for the food, it seems unreasonable to not allow customers to take home what they couldn’t finish. The idea of paying for wasted food feels unfair and left a bad impression. And defining what is excessive waste/extra food is very vague. As for the food itself, it was just okay — nothing special or memorable. The flavors didn’t stand out, and it wasn’t quite to their taste. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean and offered a unique dining setup, which was interesting to experience. Overall, while the concept of the place is neat, the restrictive leftover policy and average food quality made the experience underwhelming. Based on my family’s experience, I’d hesitate to recommend it unless you’re curious about the concept and don’t mind the policy's.

The combo price (hot pot and KBBQ) was reasonable. It’s an eat all you can so They charge extra if you didn’t finish what you got. So, better get a small portion first and add more later. At first it was confusing about the pricing and ordering but the waitress explained it well. You have to order the same on a table, like you can’t order KBBQ and other people order hotpot. It has to be all KBBQ and all hotpot or all Combo. On Saturday, they charged dinner time even if you come on lunch time. If you order combo, it’s only $5 additional. The waiter will always go to your table and ask if you need anything or want additional food. Food was good there’s a lot of meat options on KBBQ and hotpot. Service was excellent and waitress was very attentive. If you’re not sure what to order, start with a hot pot or KBBQ because combo has a lot of food.

I love Korean food and was very excited to try this place. It was a huge let down for me. It was a combination of things that just left a lot to be desired.

First was our waitress, she was awful. She took care of a table that got in after us first and left us to our own devices. We had someone in our group who wasn’t that hungry and just ordered a side and she had the guy in charge come over and tell us that person would still have to pay the $30 fee for the grilling just for being there. We were fine with this, but the audacity to get the manager instead of just mentioning it herself was absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional.

Furthermore the waitress didn’t explain anything to us other than the hot pot vs grilling option. You have to get up to their condiment/side bar and get everything together yourself. We literally had to ask around us to get the info. We weren’t ever asked for drink refills or explained how to work the grill (higher or lower temperatures) at all. We literally were left to figure it out.

Something else that really bothered me is how dimly lit the place was, how am I supposed to see the chicken to make sure it’s cooked thoroughly? I feel like this is food poisoning waiting to happen. I wound up intentionally burning mine just to make sure (because we also had to figure the temperature settings to remember)

Overall- I understand they just opened and have a few kinks to work out, but I don’t think this will be a regular stop for us all. The food was ok, but nothing spectacular, the service was awful to non-existent, and if you really read the menu they want to charge you for every little thing they can.

I’ll stick to The Korean Bulgogi House- their food is absolutely phenomenal, well priced and they are absolutely...

I have eaten at many Korean BBQ restaurants and this has gotta be a joke. Utterly disappointing and uncomfortable experience. There was no metal hood vents systems which exacerbates inadequate ventilation, they did however have about 6 vents that look like ones you’d find in your bathroom, not sure if they weren’t on or just broken, entire restaurant felt like we were sitting next to a campfire trying to breathe the smoke, ANYONE WITH BREATHING OR LUNG ISSUES SHOULD PROBABLY STAY CLEAR. There’s zero thought into the customer safety, customer flow or table setting, absolute chaos. Tables are small and crammed making it difficult to cook your food besides eat it, the benches and tables move and fall over when you sit down (safety hazard). Boiling hot pot hits your knees under the table (safety hazard). Service… well there was none, not one person leading you to a table or telling you to seat yourself, no one explaining how the grill or stovetop works. Absolutely lackluster. Cross contamination nightmare. The same K pop video plays on loop on every hazy tv screen like a fever dream. To leave after paying and having to physically squeezing through 20+ other people waiting for a table at the only entrance and exit felt very uncomfortable.

The final straw was when we went to pay. The owner, I believe, snarled and muttered a sarcastic comment about our tip amount after glaring at us writing in the tip on the receipt, of course we left a poor tip because our service was...
