DO NOT RECOMMEND! I am not a picky person when it comes to places to stay but I always look for cleanliness. There was a horrible smell as soon as you walked in the room and it was a MESS. They obviously didn’t sweep, dust, or wipe down the counters. The worst part was the amount of fruit flies along with the black mold growing around the windows. The A/C created a horrible mildew smell that was almost suffocating. It was so bad we asked for a refund where the front desk lady initially refused. We asked for a manager only to be told she went home (we literally talked to her 10 minutes prior). Only when we threatened to take it up with the bureau of business did she get the manager for us. The manager was extremely understanding and we got a refund. The manager was the only positive to be honest. Also, I wouldn’t recommend for families and such since the area/people don’t seem to be the greatest. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK.

Do not stay here if you enjoy clean beds. There were crumbs on top of comforters and upon pulling them back I found hair, several stains, more crumbs, mouse/bug feces.... absolutely disgusting! Worst 4 hours of sleep in my life. We got the last room at 2am so I didn't even try to rectify the situation at that point. When I brought it to there attention on our way out at 8am, the best they would do was offer me a free room at that location on my next stay, as if I would ever stay in a Motel 6 again!

Pam was a pleasure to deal with, starting with a very inviting and kind phone call to a nice greeting upon checking in for both my dog and myself. Customer Service makes such a difference and Pam has it in Spades! Room was clean and comfortable. Numerous restaurants options within walking distance. Close enough to the freeway to be convenient in location but not right on top of it like so many other establishments. Will stay again when in the area.

This stay started rough and didn't really get any smoother.

When I arrived to check in, they couldn't find my reservation. I showed them the email and they said they were overbooked. While my wife searched for other hotels with availability, they tried to find me a room. After about 20 minutes they came up with one and gave me the key cards, and a $20 discount for the inconvenience.

I went upstairs to make sure the key card worked and I couldn't get the door open. It felt like it was locked from the inside. I noticed immediately that the hallway smelled like marijuana and there was a dog barking in a room down the hall. I reported the door not opening and the manager took my key and went up to check. She reported that it opened just fine for her, so I tried it again. I got it to open, but it wasn't just fine. The top of the door is not level so it's more difficult than it needs to be to open and close.

There's a lot of stuff missing from the room that I would expect to be there. There was no clock. There was no hair dryer. There was no ironing board or iron.

There were always people in the parking lot. Kids playing, people smoking, people sitting in their cars smoking, and others just standing around talking in groups of 2 or 3. I've never experienced that before at any other place I've stayed. Is it because they do long term rentals?

Here's what I liked about this room. Light switches were where I expected them. The air conditioning works perfectly and makes some good white noise that drowns out a lot of other noise. There are plenty of easily accessible outlets to plug in things like laptops and phone chargers.

This place is really convenient. It's close to just about everything. Downtown is about 10 to 15 minutes away. There are several restaurants right in the area that you can walk to, from Burger King and Wendy's to Texas Roadhouse and Carrabas. Just about 2 minutes drive to the other side of the interstate, there's just about everything you could want, including Target and more good restaurants. Also, it's about the least expensive place I could find, so there's that.

Because of the list of things I found uncomfortable and the list of things missing, I find it difficult to recommend this place. If none of this really matters to you and you want to save as much money as you can, then this...

Horrible place to stay if you expect good customer service or friendliness! Indian owned and front desk lady was so rude. Very cheap facility and towels felt like sandpaper! Had to ask for extra blankets because linen is so cheap and thin. When I asked for 2 extra blankets she wrote it down on a sheet behind the desk as though I would steal them, lol! They looked and felt like oversized table clothes literally! What a joke! I had to ask for more towels and my room didn’t even come with hand towels or face towels??? I was given attitude and questioned about wanting more towels even though we booked the room for 4 people and the room was only stocked for 3 people! Meaning 3 towels that’s it! No wash clothes! One tiny bar of soap and an ice bucket! Stains were on the sheets. 2 flat old pillows per bed and don’t get me started on how uncomfortable the mattresses were! No carpet in rooms, cheap peel and stick flooring. Towel rack and toilet paper holder was falling down. Tub was dingy and whole entire place looked cheap and thrown together poorly! No dressers no closet to hang or put clothes away?!!! Cable TV kept coming in and out. I called the front desk and was told it must be the wind and they couldn’t do anything about it, no sorry or nothing! So, I just turned off the TV and gave up! Pool is small but not too bad for younger kids if not too crowded. But no towels in pool area. When I asked for pool towels I was told they were all dirty and wouldn’t be washed until the next day? WTH? They do have a washer and dryer for your use there and it takes $1.50 for each. I did ask for change (quarters) so I could wash my daughters Volleyball uniform. (We were in town for a tournament) but the lady at the desk wanted to only give me $2.00 worth of quarters!!! I’m like “lady it takes $3 per load to be able to wash and dry!”Frustrated all weekend! No complementary breakfast or coffee that I saw? They didn’t even have regular trash cans in the rooms they had these little tiny waste baskets that weren’t any bigger than a gallon! Useless! Just piss poor service and bad low budget facility! Was only given 1 room key and was told if I wanted another key my husband would need to come to the desk and ask and show I.D. !!! Just way too much drama for such horrible service! I won’t ever stay in any Motel 6 again, just...

. i saw the responses from the owner. Did anyone notice they were all identical to everyones complaints??????? I paid for room without seeing it. Most places do NOT take money out of your account before you even see the room or until you checkout the nect morning. They put a hold. The money was immediately out of my account. We went to the room. Couldn't BELIEVE the quote queen size beds.! They looked like box springs on a frame! The bathroom unbelievably small. It was like a hole in the wall. !!! I went down immediately and told the man at tge desk. Who when we firzt got there took. 10 minutes to come to the desk. I told him we are not staying here it was disgusting. I told him i couldn't believe the beds etc. He was surprised. And said do i want my money back?! Im like yes i want a refund. What did he think i would want? We spent longer walking to the room than being in the room. Im STILL waiting for my money to be put back in my account. There was a hotel tight next to it. The Radisson. I was charged $75.00 at your motel. I coukd have gotten a room MUCH nicer for a total of $115.00. But since my money was immediately taken out i could afford it. Our air conditioning unit broke at our home. I just got home from being in c.c.u. for 15 days. I wanted a decent place to spend the night because im only 57 years old with a pacemaker 3 weeks old surgery. And i thought this was nicer than it was. Again price difference between these two hotels??? I would have paid the $115.00 gladly at tge other one. Maybe something shoukd be done about taking funds out before you get in the room. Like most they put a hold on the dollar amount until checkout. Ive traveled out of town for special ists. So i KNOW They do this. And the Radisson was amazed they did this. They said it was not a normal thing to do. So Again. I had better get my refund as soon as possible. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone. For this price tgere are alot nicer larger rooms CLEANER and employees who dont come to the desk like they are half asleep, out of it and are not friendly. He was like ok heres a body lets put them in a room so i can get back to smoking his cigarette outside the front of the building entry way. Which is what he did when we were...
