Quality Inn & Suites — Hotel in Indianapolis

This place like the above comment said was a hole, it's suppose to be non smoking but the entire building inside and out smells like smoke, our room smelled like smoke we have a 1 yr old and he was sick due to this place, we slept with the window open all night we would of left but we came from South Carolina and it was so late, we left the next day immediately. my wife poured baby shampoo on the floor and scrubbed the carpet with their towels took pictures, of before and after, the towels are pitch black, I wish I could upload photos to this site, also the air conditioner was pitch black with dust and mold inside it was horrible, she cleaned that out to, and had nasty black towels afterwards, she wiped everything down and found bugs in the corners and on the floor which she also took pictures of, the bed mattress was disgusting and dirty black/brown, and they don't even have a decent protector over the mattress this place is a breeding ground for all sorts of illnesses and parasites, the sheets they gave us has holes and tears, and the smoke is still constant, even the receptionist smoked right in front of the building. House keeping was very rude, and didn't even offere basic cleaning, the pool is closed currently due to some violation, which makes sense considering everything. I am an electrical contractor and I spend 50-75% of the year on the road living in hotels. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. I was working 3rd shift so I checked into the room at around 3 am Monday morning, told the desk clerk that I would be checking out Wednesday at 11 am. Monday morning at 11:30 am I was woken up by the hotel manager barging into my room. He then demanded that I come down stairs and sort out the issue. While talking to him at the front desk he was very rude and condescending. All verbal communication was about useless because of his inability to speak clear English. He demanded that I had not paid for my room at all. I told him that I was going to get my luggage and leave and he refused to let me back into the room without letting him run my credit card again. In the end I was charged for 6 nights instead of the 4 that I had stayed. I'm waiting on a refund of the charge for the extra 2 nights which he insists will only take 5 days, but the very large sign at the front desk assures you that I can take up to 30 days. To their credit, the management refunded my room charges. I stayed one night here with my 11 year old son on a road trip. We looked for a place with a pool. The pool was cloudy and poorly maintained. Mildew stained the floors and tiles were missing. Then there's the room. The shower was broken, either scalding or freezing water. The carpets were fuzzy with dust and stained. But the worst part was waking up with blood on my sheets because I had been BITTEN BY BEDBUGS. I caught 3 bedbugs in a water bottle in a matter of minutes. I brought them up front to show the manager. He was very sorry and a really nice guy. He gave us a key to another room and some garbage bags to wrap my suitcases. There were no visible bedbugs in the next room but the toilet was broken and the fire detector/sprinkler was broken- wires hanging out. The free wifi did not work in either room. We sat in the breakfast room (no orange juice) and saw two suspicious beetles crawl across the floor. I cannot confirm that they were cockroaches. The...
