Frustrated, the screen on my Pixel 3a was damaged. They told me worst case scenario the battery might need replaced. They added the battery replacement on and said it's just in case, but when I went to pick it up, they said there was nothing wrong with the battery and battery replacements are automatically charged with screen replacement. They did a good job, but there is a lack of consistency. Roughly $180. Do not agree to any charges "just in case" prior to them opening the phone; have them call you and tell you something else needs fixed. I lost trust in them, and thought I would return in the future with devices but later changed my mind based on following edits. Edit: The screen was popping off, so we took it back in yesterday. They tried to glue it and returned it to us, but we noticed the pixels were all busted. We turned it back in for screen replacement immediately after, but it is popping off again. (Popping off = The screen is not seated properly and raised up over the phone casing by millimeters not properly sealing it, which was agreed by the store associates to be a mistake) The touch screen function randomly stopped working today. We've contacted support, awaiting response.

I took my nintendo switch in to get an error code taken up, upon their “investigation” they discovered a new chip needed to be welded back into the motherboard, with a task like that you should expect precision and someone who should be able to pay attention to details. Well, I picked it back up not even 24 hours later noticing not only a missing screw but the back panel not on correctly/ the whole way. I am now jumping through corporate hoops in attempts to get my money back to take it elsewhere for diagnosis and to see how bad of a job the inside looks. Save yourself time, money and your device by taking to actual professionals, not people who “double check inside and out” and forget to put your device back together. I walked out with less parts than i walked in with. EDIT; they won’t replace my missing part, OR give me a refund! This place needs to be shut down EDIT AGAIN: I had to take it to ANOTHER place because the switch broke again after paying $100+. The Chip they soldered on wasn’t done correctly and fried AGAIN due to not being done correctly and it caused the charger port to also fry. TAKE YOUR DEVICES TO A SMALL BUSINESS THIS CORPORATION DOES NOT CARE.

Was sold a defective screen with burn in on day one; (it gets much worse in high heat, which leads me to believe they damaged my battery) of which they refused to replace under their “pseudo” warranty. Also, adhesive screen tape was HANGING out of the replacement screen when I got my phone back… This place is an absolute joke. You’re better off buying a guitar pick, a 30 dollar screen online and watching a YouTube video! (The burn in has nothing to do with the hairline crack on a completely different portion of the device, and they d*** well know it too). That being said, It may not even be the screen causing the burn in. It could be the battery swelling up against the screen in heat, due to the cheap, near useless Chinese screens that they overcharge for, drawing too much power from the battery… buyer beware… PLEASE do your research!

I'm very upset about the experience I just had here (12/13). I had gotten my iPhone 5c's cracked screen and home button replaced here a few weeks ago, (11/18). I came back in tonight because since I had gotten the replacements (on 11/18) the top right corner of the screen had been lifting up and it didn't feel as if it were sitting in my phone correctly and the home button was also moving all around (which I noticed when I had gotten into my car but thought it was normal since it was a replacement - which now I realize is because they failed to put in a gasket).

Since I still had an active warranty, they offered to fix said problems. A few minutes later, the employee came out with a new screen and the screen they were replacing and said he wasn't "accusing" me of anything (yeah, he was) but the screen they were replacing didn't have their special mark (a sticker) and that it was a screen with adhesive and that they don't use screens with said adhesive - basically I was accused of haven gone somewhere else after I had JUST gotten it replaced there a few weeks ago (11/18)! Also, he said that I didn't have a gasket under my home button and that he wouldn't have replaced it without one - (that's why it was moving around!!)

I DID NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I did not tamper with my phone. No one else has touched my phone. No one else had done any work on my phone! Who goes somewhere else when they have a three month warranty!?! It's not my fault they originally replaced my screen without their mark or used a different kind of adhesive screen! This new screen has a screen protector - the last one did not - so they obviously used an unmarked part which I was then accused of getting elsewhere.

They did replace my screen/installed a home button gasket, at no cost, but they took away my warranty (because of the aforementioned allegations). So, if my screen starts to come up at the corner again, or if they did a sloppy job like the first time, I'm SOL (though, fortunately, it looks much, much better this time around, and my home button isn't moving any longer because a gasket was put in, THIS time). I regret the $20.00 tip I had given them the first visit (make sure to throughly check over your phone and buttons). This visit was confusing, embarrassing and pretty irritating. They really should start taking pictures of each part they use, OR, better yet, making sure they're definitely using marked parts, so no accusations happen with future customers!

If you get your screen replaced here (and to their credit, they are really fast - maybe too fast, as things obviously had gotten overlooked!), ASK TO SEE THEIR MARK (STICKER) ON THEIR PARTS FIRST because if they didn't mark their own damn parts they will just assume you went somewhere else if you happen to need their work redone during your 3 month warranty!

Their prices seem very fair (though maybe it's because I've never been to any place else), and I see from other reviews that they do price-matching, so, go for it if you live close to York, but be absolutely certain that they are using...

Initial contact with this company was quick and simple. Told the guy over the phone the issue I was having with my PC, he told me it’s most likely one of two things and quoted me a price. I drop off the PC, they tell me it’ll be a few days for them to get into it to figure out what’s going on, which is totally fine, I’m in no rush. Before leaving, the guy tells me about Asurion and if I sign up for their monthly subscription I could save on the repair if they’re able to determine the issue. If not, that after 30 days I would be able to file a claim and have the PC replaced. Great! I sign up and leave. About a week later I get a call, in which they tell me that they needed some software to fix the issue and that they’re having trouble finding the one it needs. I ask what would the next step be if they can’t find the software, they tell me essentially it’ll need a motherboard, which can be costly so if that’s the case then I should file a claim with Asurion to have the PC replaced as long as it’s been 30 days. Again, great, fine, dandy. The guy on the phone tells me he’s going to keep looking for the software to see what he can find. Then a week goes by, two weeks, three weeks. I’m already under the impression that the PC cannot be fixed. I call in to get an update, no answer. Left a voicemail for a call back. Nothing. Another week goes by, no response. I call again, no answer. Left another voicemail. Nothing. Call again the next day, no answer. So I drive to the store to see what’s going on. The nice gentleman (not apart of the initial interaction I had) pulled up my file and told me that they had just looked at it the day before and they need to locate the software?? I said, that’s the same thing I was told over 3 weeks ago. He says 3 weeks??? Goes to the back, I’m guessing to speak with the guy that was looking at the PC; they come back out together and the guy I initially spoke with tells me he tried but there’s nothing he can do. THAT, I am okay with. If it can’t be fixed, it can’t be fixed. I’ll take that L. My fault for buying a shitty prebuilt from Amazon. Lesson learned. My issue is that for over 4 weeks no one called to let me know that there was nothing that could be done or had the decency of returning my phone calls. I asked about filing a claim, the guy shows me how and where to file and since i’ve been subscribed for over 30 days that it should replaced. For an IT company, Asurion has to have one of THE WORST websites/apps out there. It look me over an hour and a half to file a claim that should’ve essentially taken 10 minutes (IF THAT) because the app/website would crash and sign out every single time I tried typing on their claim form; no matter what device I tried using. All in all, just a real shitty,...

Let me tell you a story: One day I went to the doctors, and I wasn't in a particularly good mood leaving the appointment. Regardless, I pull out my phone to turn on my GPS and get back home, but much to my chagrin, my day would only get worse. A godforsaken boot loop decided that it was the PERFECT time to keep me offline. We had words, but it's an inanimate object and could not possibly care less. After being lost and late to class, I eventually found my way back to campus. I lived the rest of my day without my phone. Not a really big deal, but annoying nonetheless. We had a ferocious battle that ended with a lot of yelling at my phone and accidentally calling 911 because of that newer feature... My sister eventually found a reddit thread that said it might be a sticky power button and a quick fix for it. YAY it worked but not for long

Fast forward to the following Monday morning when I woke up to discover that the passing wind was activating my power button. I had to take my phone case off because it was becoming as sensitive as my emotions. I said enough was enough and was going to take it to a uBreakiFix. Imagine my utter dismay and frustration when I discovered that they were all. closed. in. my. area. After a bit more searching, I saw that the one in York was open. It's a miracle! I squealed, though in hindsight the only miracle was that I hadn't just broken the phone to bits at that point.

Now to my actual visit: I had called ahead, and the representative on the phone was FANASTIC. So sweet, understanding, and reassuring that they could help. Once there, someone promptly helped my disgruntled self. He was curious about what was happening and immediately took it back to check out. 5 minutes later, phone in hand, he said all that was needed was a soft reset. I felt so incredibly stupid because I had done that a million times the first go around, so I hadn't even bothered to try... I was then prepared to pay a ridiculous amount for such an easy fix. Nope!!! Not a penny was spent other than the Starbucks I treated myself to immediately after. Fantastic service both in person and over the phone. I'd honestly haul myself to York again if I had any other problems just because of how great they were.

Now I wish I could give an update for if the phone continued to work but unfortunately I cannot. Why is that? Well being the incredibly intelligent person I am, I accidentally broke the phone about a week later... I didn't have any other problems before...
