DO NOT STAY HERE — RUINED OUR BACHELORETTE TRIP

I rarely leave reviews like this, but our experience was so frustrating that I feel like people need to know. We stayed here for a bachelorette trip and it was honestly a disaster from start to finish.

We originally booked a two-bedroom suite so we could all stay together, but we were notified the day before check-in that they were changing our reservation and splitting us into two one-bedroom suites. Totally ruined the vibe and the whole point of the group trip. • One of the rooms was filthy when we arrived. The sofa bed was so dirty it was unusable so the 3 of us shared one bed, because even though they told us housekeeping would come clean it, no one ever showed. Not to also mention that the second one-bedroom suite was much smaller than the other, and the electrical setup was terrible — dim living room lighting, flickering bedroom lights, and half the outlets didn’t even work. • There were dead flying ants in the sink and shower every single day, and we even saw a cockroach. We kept washing them away but they kept reappearing. There were bug traps by the shower so this must be a known issue to them. • There was a water shutoff late at night that lasted way longer than we were told. We cancelled our late night plans so that we can wash up before the water shutdown, only to stay up because it shut off earlier than they told us and came back later as well. The next morning, the sink was faulty as it was sporadically spitting water at us as we were trying to wash our faces/hands and brush our teeth. • And on top of it all, housekeeping came into both rooms before 10am on checkout day when checkout time was 11am. We were trying to get ready and take pictures of the decoration we put up for the bach trip, but kept getting interrupted.

We brought all of this up to the hotel after our stay, and they are barely willing to compensate us.

Bottom line: Do NOT book here. This hotel completely failed to deliver on even the most basic expectations — cleanliness, communication, and comfort. We’re incredibly disappointed and would never recommend this...

I initially had a great time at the hotel and was planning on coming back later this year, but their service left a very bad taste in my mouth and i would suggest against staying until they fixed the management.

Pros: the rooms are beautiful and well equipped (including kettle for tea, which isn't very common). It was close to the beach. The staff I met in person are very friendly.

Now Cons: This online support model was a scam that is designed to avoid helping guests. First, i did not get check-in information until late at night and when i called, the receptionist was not friendly at all. I later ran into a woman who arrived with her phone dead and she had no way of checking in. Second, both on the google review (check the review before this) and in person, they explicitly said that they could accomodate luggage storage after check-out, but when I requested it, the person on the phone declined. When i pressed them about the google review response, they just ghosted me. It did not affect me too much as my flight was in the early afternoon, but I do not like being manipulated. In addition, they need to be more explicit that they are doing renovation. The noise starts at 9 which isn't too bad for me, but the workers won't stop the work when you walk past them. I got dust all over my clothes and had to change.

Misleading and Disappointing Experience

I booked a suite at Aloha Fridays through Expedia in early November for a December 4th arrival. The suite I reserved was advertised as fully equipped with a kitchen and looked amazing in the photos. However, just 48 hours before my trip, I received a call and an email informing me that my reservation was canceled due to an issue with the property.

Instead of a solution, I was placed in a completely different hotel that had nothing to do with what I booked: no pool, a much smaller room with no kitchen, and located far from the original property. To make matters worse, the place is dirty, poorly maintained, and doesn’t match any of the photos advertised.

The experience has been incredibly frustrating. There is no staff on-site to help, and my front door code keeps rejecting me. It’s been one problem after another, and I feel completely let down by the false advertising and lack of proper resolution.
