80% Good but too noisy! Here’s what we liked/didn’t about this place:
My husband and I took a trip to Nashville for our anniversary and thought this place would be perfect for us. We were sadly mistaken. The first incident was when we had to call the front desk because they gave us the room number and code of someone else's room. This made a very uncomfortable situation for us and the "very happy couple" in that room. When we called the front desk, they did not seem at all surprised as if something like this had happened before (which after reading some reviews we found out it has). When we got the correct room number, our 9 digit code for the keypad did not work, so we had to call the front desk again. We then had to walk back downstairs to get the actual key for the room since nothing else would work. After getting into the room, we thought it would get better from there. Instead, we were met with a broken bed that we could tell they tried fixing before by drilling wooden planks at the end of the bed to hold it up. The door didnt have an extra lock on it so we had to put our luggage in front of the door to get ease of mind that we wouldnt be walked in on either. Also, the TV is an apple TV, so unless you have an IOS device or an apple account, there's no TV for you, so we had to create an apple account. The main table was broken, and the washer was busted, so we couldn't even enjoy all the "amenities" the hotel had to offer. After all of that, we wanted to enjoy what sleep we could get with the comfy blanket they left us. However, we quickly felt the blanket had a hard spot that looked a lot like a man's bodily fluid, which was absolutely disgusting. We will never stay there again. No one else should go there either. Just spend the extra money to have a hotel on the strip and save yourself all the hassle we had to go through. NOT WORTH...
Read moreMy husband decided to surprise me with an early Staycation for Valentine's, but it quickly turned disastrous. I'm not sure why when rooms are booked through a 3rd party, the front desk attendants seem to have an issue with it. Like it's their hotel or money, but I've noticed it happens a lot. After dinner we arrive at the hotel around 10pm for check-in. There were 2 front desk attendants that 1st said they couldn't find our booking. After about 10 minutes of back and forth, one of the attendants claim that the reservation was canceled. We didn't receive any cancelation notice from the booking site, so we were puzzled as to how this could be. After another 5-10 minutes of back and forth, the only resolution the attendant had was to book another room...with her. Say what??! So my husband decided to call Priceline to figure what was going on. (Notice there was no call attempt made by the front desk attendant) While he was on the phone he decided to move our car to a closer parking area and while he was away, the same attendant told me that the reservation was made under some random persons name and #, and the room had been canceled because that phone # was on some kind of "blocked- do not book, list". Again, SAY WHAT??? Priceline ended up confirming the room was actually canceled BY THE HOTEL AT 7:00 pm for unknown reasons and they didnt know anything about the block list claims. By this time, we were annoyed and just left to head home. Thanks for ruining what could have been a cool ending to a nice night Placemakr. Your staff needs to do better. The lack of empathy and concern was appalling. I expect better treatment than what I...
