I booked a stay for 3/3/17 Friday night in a suite to celebrate our Anniversary and the Whole Place is Grate, Nice and Clean but the Morning Breakfast Was Not, Not Very Satisfying we arrived at breakfast at 9:15a the Waffle Mix was out and all 3 Milks were out and only 3 Sausages left only thing left hot was Over Cooked Eggs, As a Gold Rewards Members me and my wife didn't have a Grate Breakfast to start our day and there was not a breakfast attendant to ask for more, So I grabbed a glass of juice and told my wife this is not right we are just going to leave so we went back to our room packed up checked out and went to get breakfast at Denny's which I should not of had to pay for as our stay was to include breakfast, Also I ordered extra the Sweet Hart Package with Rose and Champagne, Chocolates, Gift Certificate for Texas Road House and in our room at check received the Rose and Champagne Very Nice wife was surprised but the Chocolates and Gift Certificate for Texas Road House was not there so I go down to the desk to get the Gift Certificate and Chocolates told the lady at the desk about Gift Certificate and Chocolates not being in the room and she looks through some Gift Certificates and lady hands me one that's not even in my name, She gave me one with To: Dino Martino on the Certificate, I said this name is not me she said it was OK, I was insulted by this but just kept my mouth shut and returned back to my room and without the Chocolates, Now the day before our arrival I called and ordered the Sweet Hart Package and I talked to the guy at Schoenbrunn Inn and the guy told he would take care of everything and would have everything in the room from the Sweet Hart Package as I wanted it to be a surprise to my wife but that didn't happen, I still have the gift certificate but its not in my name name Tim A its Dino Martino so probably will not be able to use it and probably out my money I paid in the Sweet Hart Package and also never did get the Chocolates I paid for in Sweet Hart Package, As a Gold Rewards Member I used 16000 of my hard earned points to stay with you would of expected a hot breakfast and people to do what they say they will do, I like staying with Comfort Inn and Ascend Hotels and I thought would give your hotel a try. Out off all my stays with Comfort Inn and Ascend Hotels this is the first one me and my wife have never got breakfast the next morning of our stay, Sorry but this made and my wife Pretty Ticked Off ., So Schoenbrunn Inn I would have gave you 5 stars your place is one of the Nicest, Cleanest places out of the Comfort Inn and Ascend I have ever stayed in but you dropped the the ball when it came to the gift certificate with Dino Martino name on it and not mine Tim A that's insulting and not getting breakfast so you get a 3 stars and I am being nice, I don't know if I can ever stay with you again, If you were expecting a hot breakfast and in the morning it wasn't there would you stay with you again ?, and you insulted my name I am TIM A not...
Read moreUpon check in, I found someone's leftovers in the fridge. Threw them out and continued to settle in. Went into the bathroom to put my toiletries in there and saw a bug on floor. Used a piece of tissue to pick it up and lifted the toilet lid to throw it in the toilet and there was urine on the seat. Went to the front desk to ask for cleaning products. The employee offered me a different room instead which I graciously accepted. I still remained neutral about the hotel and was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. Upon check out, the male clerk asked me how our stay was. I told him it turned out ok but didn't start that way and told him what happened. About an hour later, I received a call from the same clerk asking if I knew where the toss pillow was from our room. He said the maid could not find it. I told him that the one from my bed should have been on the floor between the bed and wall. My daughter said she didn't think there was on in her bed. He then said that there had to be because the maid is meticulous and checks for the pillows, so there had to be one on the bed. I told him I didn't know where it was but we didn't have it. He said he just needed to know where it is. I asked him if he thought we took it. He responded that he wasn't accusing me but we needed to tell him where it was. I proceeded to tell him that I was the guest who checked into a dirty room and the last thing I would want is a toss pillow from a hotel let alone one that is so meticulous in its cleaning that they leave old food in the fridge and urine on the toilet seat.
I cannot believe we were accused of stealing a toss pillow from a hotel. I personally think toss pillows in hotels are disgusting as they cannot be cleaned after each guest so they are unsanitary.
I would have expected a call from the manager to apologize for the condition of room. Could never had imagined a call being accused of...
Read moreFor hotels in this price point this might be our worst hotel stay. We were just driving though and were unsure how far we would get on this day of travel, so we made the reservation on the ChoiceHotels App about an hour before we arrived. They did have our reservation but that was about the only thing that went right. We got into our 2nd floor room around 10:30 p.m. and found we were overlooking the pool that a number of people were still enjoying. We could hear talking and loud music but figured it would quiet down when the pool closed at midnight. However, the bass of the music did not stop at midnight. I thought about going to the front desk to complain but didn't want to wake my husband (not sure how he was sleeping with the noise). We found out in the morning our room was directly over the pub that was open until 2:00 a.m. (at least on Friday nights). The front desk clerk apologized and gave me a song and dance about how they are working to muffle the noise even further than it already is. He also told me that if I had come down and complained they would have tried to make it right by giving us another room, although he wasn't sure there were any other rooms available because they were so busy. The next problem was somewhat our fault. When we got a number of hours away from the hotel we figured out our car had been broken into during the night. All of our quarters (not our nickels or dimes) that we were going to use for tolls had been stolen. So someone had gone through the parking lot during the night looking for unlocked cars. The third thing that went wrong was again my fault. I left my facial cleaner bottle laying on the bed (white bottle blended in with the sheets apparently). When I called the hotel to ask about it they told me they did not find anything and nothing had been turned in. Overall, a very bad experience...
