I was highly disappointed with my last experience at this store.
I had to get a new phone but didn't want to pay too too much as I was still paying on a current phone that got broken. Long story short I went with a Motorola Edge 22 after being a Pixel girl since they came out. Was told the camera was better than the Pixels (lie). Was told I had 30 days to return and swap for the Pixel if I decided I didn't like it but to be careful because I could potentially pay a restock fee if the phone became worn. Said everything will be transfered as far as any discounts and what not go, I'd just have to pay the tax different between the 2 phones if I decided to swap them.
After about a week I knew I didn't like it and wanted to switch it. I contacted the gentleman I worked with, Jamal Taylor, and got no response. Gave it a few more days and reached out again, nothing. So then I stopped in to speak in person and was told he was on vacation. So another gentleman told me to come back in when he was back but at this point I would have to pay a 75+ restock fee (I didn't want to buy a case for a phone I was going to potentially return), was told all the discounts and promotions wouldn't carry over and that I'd maybe get half off of what I was currently receiving in order to swap to the Pixel 8.
Went to the Verizon by the mall and they couldn't help me because this Verizon isn't technically Verizon store. They're independent and like a sister store so they couldn't reverse or fix anything they had done.
So now I'm stuck with a phone I don't like until it's paid off.
Jamal has NEVER gotten back in contact with me. Very UNprofessional. Not to mention the complete lies from the beginning.

But the reason I’m giving only two stars is the fact that they lied to me and my fiancé, they told me that my monthly bill would be ONLY $10 a month for I believe 360 months, which is what they told him as well, which overall was a decent payment for an iphone 13 and it’s very easy to keep up with and manage considering we are a struggling family and we need phones for communication because our daughter gets sick very easily. well, I now receive a bill for $1,031 because I missed one payment. How am I supposed to pay a bill like that when I can barely afford my daughters diapers that are $40 ??? and it’s not like my fiancé can pay for my phone bills because he has his own that are extremely high as well and i can’t work because he uses our only car for transportation to work, and every single job that I have applied to that are within walking distance from our home are not excepting employees right now, so I am the stay at home mother that takes care of our daughter, our animals, and the house while he the one that works to pay the bills (which is what he prefers because he loves his job). I just don’t understand how they could’ve told us that our payment would be a certain amount and have a sign a contract with them and then turn around and give us outrageous amounts...
Read moreI went into this location within a couple weeks after it opened with the intent to switch to Verizon Wireless. From the moment I walked in the door, I could tell we were not really welcome and we were inconveniencing them. I asked several questions about promotions I seen on their website, nobody was eager to answer my questions. I asked about prices and they acted like they didn't know prices and didn't offer to look them up or find out. It was an awful experience. They met us at the door and walked us back to the door when we left, but we clearly were not welcome or wanted. Needless to say, after this experience we decided to setup service through their website.
THREE TIMES we spent hours placing our order online and getting everything just right. All three times we waited on our free two day shipping to arrive only to find out that all three orders were cancelled without an explanation. When we called customer service nobody knew why they were cancelled. We gave up after a terrible experience in their new retail store and three failed attempts to sign up as new customers online.
If it is this hard to join them, I can't imagine how hard it would be to leave or deal with issues. I've never had such a bad experience with any retail or service company in my 40...
