Why book an airport hotel that doesn't have a shuttle when you land and take off? That's what I experienced. I got in on a night flight only to my surprise that the hotel stops their shuttle at 9 pm. They recommended I take a taxi or Uber/Lyft to the hotel. Ok, so other guests and myself who arrive after need to eat the cost. Great. I had a flight out the next morning and my my my.... the shuttle doesn't run until 530, and they only have a limited number of seats. So, if you sign up late, you might not get on that shuttle. Plus, it runs every 30 min. My fdeparture flight was a morning flight, and I wasn't able to use the shuttle again because it wouldn't give me enough time to check bags and go through security. Other hotels offer shuttles running from 4am through midnight. The hotel itself was old and VERY DIRTY. The elevator trim was being held together by clamps. The floors everywhere look like they've never been vacuumed in a while. My room was disgusting. It felt like stepping on sand and grain when I took my shoes off. Carpets had dust bunnies and crumbs. Bathroom had hair in corners, closet had a clump of hair, walls had yellow dried fluids on it. GROSS. The only plus was the bed was comfy and it didn't seem like there were any stains or bodily fluids visible to the naked eye. Overall, the ambiance of the hotel is trashy. It's dirty, old, shuttle had inconvenient times. For the cost of the Uber, just book a more reliable hotel down the road.

I'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at La Quinta Airport North in Orlando, FL, from October 26th-28th and November 1st-2nd. My group and I faced several issues that made our stay unpleasant. Firstly, using the Wyndham app to request early check-in or late check-out was impossible, creating unnecessary inconvenience. Additionally, a staff member was rude and threatened to cancel my reservation when I raised concerns about our rooms not being ready. This unprofessional behavior added stress to our stay. I had requested a 3 PM late check-out in advance, but on departure day, I was told it wasn't possible. This lack of communication and flexibility was frustrating. The hotel's facilities were problematic. The elevator had issues, and I had to help elderly guests by carrying their bags upstairs. The shuttle service was late and dropped us at arrivals instead of our gate, which was difficult for two women in our group who required wheelchair assistance. The hotel was also unclean. One of our group members had to change rooms due to a malfunctioning air conditioning unit, highlighting the lack of maintenance. Overall, our stay was uncomfortable and disappointing. We left with no intention of returning. I hope these concerns will be addressed to prevent future guests from experiencing similar issues. I wish you could upload videos because I have some really gross ones of this property.

You truly get what you pay for with this hotel. We stood 4 nights to go to Universal parks. I liked that it was near the airport and about 15 minutes away from Universal. The door to our room 317 looks like it's been broken into cause there was a huge gap right where the lock is and if you wanted, you can see into our room where the beds are situated. There were bugs in the room which I later found out were ghost ants or sugar ants. They were on the AC, table, TV area and the nightstand between the beds. I'm convinced that the AC wasn't working properly either. The elevator is kinda scary and old, and made a loud thud every time it stopped at our floor. The pool area was horrendous. The pool itself was dirty and the chairs were rusted, wobbly and tossed all over the place. It seems like nobody cleans the pool area because there were Red Bull cans left behind and someone's clothing on the ground. There was what looked like a crime scene area in the corner, which was probably the hot tub that was closed off with tape and wood. I should've took a pic. Never went back to the pool area for the rest of our stay. In fact we ended up going to a water park instead. I liked that there was always coffee in the lobby throughout the day and the beds were firm which is how I like it. We didn't experience the breakfast since it ends at 9. Most hotels end at 10 or even later on the weekends. Will not stay here again.

Going in to our stay, I was optimistic as the reviews were mostly positive. I will say, the location is convenient to the airport and food. However, that's about all I have to say regarding positives.

Our first night there, we arrived quite late and just wanted to head to bed. As a result, I took a look at the stain in the bed (pictured), and chose to sleep on the other side of the bed instead and request new sheets in the morning. However, my fiancĂŠ went to plug in his cell phone by the nightstand and noticed 2 small bugs scatter as he put his phone down. Once again, given it was so late, we figured it was a one-off occurrence and would deal with anything in the morning.

The next day, while sitting next to the other nightstand, we noticed more bugs. Sitting there for another 5 minutes, another appeared. The more we waited, the more bugs we found. We then tried to find the source of the bugs, and instead discovered a slew of trash behind the bed and behind the nightstands. A container of sauce that was behind the nightstand is shown in another picture. Realizing that this room may not have been cleaned recently, we then discovered the random brown stuff on the bathroom counter, the toothpaste on the mirror that was clearly not ours (as we don't have blue toothpaste), and a myriad of other issues including the room not being stocked with a coffee pot or cups, a broken alarm clock, incredibly dirty windows, and dust covering the floor. Not to mention the door handle with a screw half undone and gap in the door allowing light in all night. Figuring perhaps this room hadn't been cleaned too well, or wasn't in the tip-top shape of other rooms, I waited patiently for other customers to clear the way, so I could bring up my room concerns to the front desk in privacy, without influencing other customer's experiences.

When I said I "had some concerns about the room" the front desk employee motioned for another employee to join him. I then told the employee about my main concern, the bugs, and he called over who I could only imagine was the manager. As I began to detail, again, the issues, he dismissed it with his hand and told one of his other employees to handle it. Without even having the chance to fully describe the issues, we were asked to move to a different room so they could address the issues of our previous room. This felt dismissive or as though they hear these complaints often. Either way, we moved rooms. I can only hope they called pest control for room 304, but I can not confirm that it happened.

When we arrived to the new room, there were no bugs!! Things seemed cleaner, though still a bit dusty. The main concern was the shower in the bathroom that produced a steady light stream of water. The front desk had requested that I follow up with them, so I informed them that the room seemed much cleaner, but the bathtub water was continuously on. I let them know it wasn't an immediate concern and could be handled later as the only annoyance was the sound. In hindsight, I regret that.

I was told a work order would be put in the next morning to fix the water, but the next day it was still leaking. I called back that evening to follow up on the status of the request and was told that Tom, the maintenance manager, would personally see to it that the request was fulfilled in the morning. Well, the next evening, .. the bathtub was still leaking. I did tell the front desk at checkout that this was still an issue. Hopefully the next guest is able to actually enjoy a silent night's sleep.

In short, I would not recommend this hotel. This is not a hotel, it is motel quality. Breakfast was bad. The eggs are watery, sausage burnt, and the cups they provide for coffee are unusually small. Oh, and the room keys barely work and the elevator is old and rickety.

And to the hotel manager who reads this (if they read this), I did try to bring up all of these concerns during my stay multiple times. Edited 2023: I was going through old reviews and this popped up. I did speak to the manager after this. He was as terrible...

We travel a lot every year, and this is by far one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. As business owners, we understand how negative reviews can impact a business, so it is with regret that I write this. There are many hotels in this area, and for what they are charging, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Definitely read the reviews and consider which one best fits your needs and budget.

First off, we arrived at the hotel only to find out our room was booked for the week prior. We should have double-checked, but their site kept glitching and booked the date we were making the reservation instead of the date we wanted. After getting off our cruise, we found out we had no room reserved. The guest service staff had no personality and was not friendly. They said they had no rooms available, but when we went online, we were able to reserve a room. However, we had to wait 30 minutes for the confirmation to reach their computer, even though we had the confirmation number on our phone. The staff still insisted they had no rooms available.

While we waited, I noticed how dirty the facility was. The women’s bathroom was also dirty and had no paper towels, even though it was only 10 AM. My dad didn’t want to use the men’s bathroom because it was so dirty. When we finally checked in, they put our luggage behind the desk in the lobby, which did not feel secure.

The elevator felt like it would break down on us, and my older son said the other elevator was even worse. Our room had a small tube of soap and a bar of soap, and only three towels for four people. My boys took a shower and said the water didn’t get hot. I couldn’t take a shower because I had nothing to wash with or dry off with. The sheets started coming off the bed while we were laying in it, and by the time we woke up, the sheets were completely off. The room was supposed to be for four people, but the bed was so small that my boys couldn’t sleep together without fighting. One of them ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed.

The AC was very loud and made it hard to hear the TV, which was also very small. The remote was frustrating to use as it often did the opposite of what we wanted, sometimes shutting the TV off or going to the wrong channel.

Breakfast was another disappointment. The coffee, orange juice, and apple juice were very watered down. When I went to make waffles at 9 AM, the machine was empty. All the tables were dirty from previous guests, and there were multiple staff members downstairs who could have been helping to keep the lobby area clean and stocked.

Overall, for what you pay for this place, you expect more. I will not recommend this place or stay here again. This place should charge around $40 a night as it is a cheaper-end hotel. The paint was peeling off the ceiling, the walls needed painting, and the floors were stained. I didn’t even like touching the doors in our room as they looked stained and dirty, like they were never wiped down. My recommendation is to stay clear of this place. Your hard-earned money deserves to be spent at a hotel that takes pride in cleanliness and has a friendly staff.

The shuttle service was extremely disappointing. The seats were stained and ripped, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. Despite advertising a 24-hour service, the shuttle was unavailable at 5 AM, forcing my parents to use Uber, which cost $14. The Uber ride was much cleaner and more reliable than the...

Disappointing Stay at La Quinta MCO – Infrastructure Needs Serious Attention I recently booked a room for my family at La Quinta MCO to catch an early morning flight out of Orlando. To save time, I opted for online check-in, which promised a quicker process upon arrival, but unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. Upon arrival, there was a long line at the front desk with no dedicated line for online check-ins. After waiting nearly 30 minutes—while my wife and 6-month-old daughter waited in the lounge—I was still required to sign documents, making the online check-in process seem pointless. While the two front desk attendants were friendly, they struggled with getting the room keys to work. Once I finally received a key, we hauled our luggage to our second-floor room, only to find that the key didn’t work. The door occasionally unlocked but wouldn’t open. I returned to the lobby, where the maintenance man kindly offered to assist. He attempted to open the door and even tried forcefully, but the door wouldn’t budge. To save us another trip to the lobby, he offered to bring new keys for a different room. However, after 20 minutes of waiting by our luggage and baby, I had to return to the front desk myself. Eventually, after an hour from our arrival and the back-and-forth, we were given a new room. By this time however, it was too late and my wife had resorted to sitting on the hallway floor to breastfeed our daughter, as we had been waiting so long for a room. The maintenance man kindly helped us move our belongings and ensured we could access the new room before leaving us. The new room was adequate but far from ideal. While it wasn’t dirty, it had an odd smell—like air freshener masking cigarette smoke. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight of the stay. The next morning, we received notice that our flight was delayed by 12 hours. I spoke with Sherri at the front desk to request a late checkout, and she was understanding and accommodating, especially given our rough check-in experience. However, another front desk staff member insisted the hotel was fully booked and late checkout wasn’t possible. Sherri discreetly asked me to return at 11:00 a.m., and she confirmed we could stay longer without charge. Despite this assurance from Sherri, the other staff member knocked on our door about an hour later, ignoring the "Do Not Disturb" sign while our baby was napping. She insisted we had to leave immediately contradicting Sherri’s promise. This left us with no choice but to leave for the airport six hours early. To be clear, this review is not a complaint about Sherri or the maintenance man, both of whom were kind, professional, and went out of their way to help us. The real issue lies with the hotel’s outdated infrastructure and poor management decisions. The staff is clearly working under challenging circumstances, trying to compensate for a lack of proper equipment and support. At $267 CAD for one night, we expected a better experience. While some staff members did their best, the hotel’s failing infrastructure and one unaccommodating employee left us frustrated and disappointed. I cannot recommend staying here unless significant...
