I recently had the pleasure of dining at Longhorn Steakhouse in Orlando, Florida, and I must say, it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. This wasn't just a meal; it was a memorable evening that I'm eager to repeat.
First and foremost, the food quality was exceptional. My 8oz sirloin steak was cooked to absolute perfection – tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The Redrock shrimp was equally delicious, and the seasoned rice and mashed potatoes were the ideal complements. My companion's full rack of ribs was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the French fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. We also shared the steakhouse mac & cheese, which was rich, creamy, and utterly decadent. To wash it all down, the mango lemonade was refreshingly delightful, and the two Stella Artois were ice-cold and hit the spot. Every dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh.
Beyond the food, the ambiance of the restaurant was warm, inviting, and comfortable. The lighting was just right, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a casual dinner with friends.
However, what truly set this experience apart was the customer service. Our server, Laura B., was an absolute gem. She was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations, ensured our drinks were always full, and anticipated our every need with a smile. Her professionalism and genuine warmth made us feel like valued guests.
We also had the pleasure of interacting with the manager, Michael. He was equally impressive, demonstrating a clear commitment to ensuring every guest had a fantastic experience. He checked on our table, made sure everything was to our satisfaction, and his friendly demeanor added to the overall positive atmosphere.
In conclusion, my visit to Longhorn Steakhouse in Orlando was a 5-star experience in every way. The quality of the food was superb, the ambiance was perfect, and the customer service, especially from Laura B. and Michael, was truly exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. I can't...
Read moreThe GM, Drew Chin, was extremely rude and unprofessional and racially profiled us, explaining that maybe we would be better suited at a Chili's, after we discovered that our children's chicken was undercooked and then took it back and literally had it burnt to a crisp. He then told us that if we didn't lile the food we could leave. As we were leaving he made a rude hand gesture to my Puerto Rican husband and said there is the door. All we asked for was a chicken tender meal that was worth the $16.00 they were charging. All of our food was cold when it came out, the butter didn't even melt in the sweet potato, so we just asked for fresh hot food and did not expect anything for free. As my husband explained to him how you should speak to someone professionally when you are in the position that he was in, he just kept saying I am the GM, good bye there is the door. Then another manager came up to my husband from the back and tried to box him in between him and the GM. They kept yelling for us to keep our voice down and to shut up and leave, but we were not the ones being disrespectful, until they instigated it. My husband is a very large Spanish man with many tattoos, but owns a professional security company and has a very professional demeanor. We have been coming to this Longhorn for years, and Ashley is an amazing server, but it seems the GM has a very cocky attitude and thinks he has too much power. Customers should NEVER be treated in such a way of disrespect and be belittled and talked down to in the middle of the dining area. We are great paying customers and treat everyone with respect and class, except when provoked. Never would I ever think a Darden Restaurant would have such classless and unprofessional employees. We will be pursuing legal action for racial profiling and racist comments...
Read moreUnfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. They sat us in the back corner near the bussing station when there where plenty of other booths available. Service was so slow that we got up and grabbed condiments, silverware, and napkins ourselves. We are both big fans of French onion soups, so we both ordered it. They came out cold. We pulled back the cheese and saw the slices that were not even melted. They took the upgrade price for the soup of the bill but did not replace them with a different side so we ended up paying full price but only got 1 side. Our steak and filet came out with a different server, and we mentioned the soup to him and didn't see our server until another 10-15 minutes went by. My filet was cold, but I still ate it because service took another 15 minutes to check on us after the steaks were dropped off. Paying $73 for this meal was so upsetting to me. Never again. There are so many better options in the same plaza. Do yourself a favor and go to Bonefish, Bonchon or Agave Azul instead. I work at a hotel near the restaurant, not only will I not recommend this place I will do my best to make sure nobody that I interact...
