My wife and I found this place when looking for a nearby spot to get dinner. We placed our order on their website (Family meal and an order of pot stickers). The website said the food will be ready at 7:10 so I went off to go pick it up. I arrived a little early because I am always early for everything and waited at their little bar for the food to be ready. No big deal as I was there early. Right around 7:15 another lady in the lobby asked how much longer for her food as it was supposed to be ready at 7, the person working up front said it should be out there shortly but didn't really apologies for the long wait. I thought to myself okay the food will be a little late but as long as the food is good that's okay good food takes time. We continue to wait with no real updates. Around 7:25 the other lady asks for a refund as she doesn't want to wait anymore. At this point the person up front got her manager. The manager said her food is being bagged now and that they got a bunch of family meals at the same time. The lady said that they should update their app so it gives the correct order pickup time. The manager than blames UberEats and says they can't control that. Then the lady says she orders off her website. The manager looks like she didn't know that was possible and said she'll tell corporate. About 2 minuets later the lady's food comes out and she says something to the effect of KFC can figure out how to make chicken fast what's wrong with this place. At this point I thought to myself well I am sure this chicken is much better than KFC so its okay (Boy was I wrong). At about 7:30 my food came out and they noticed they didn't give me the rice and fires so a few more minuets and they came out. I returned to our hotel and find that they also forgot the coleslaw. (They gave us two things of rice and I thought one was the coleslaw) This triggered a very unhappy pregnant wife. We tried the boneless wings and chicken legs and honestly KFC would have been a better choice as the chicken lacked any flavor. We were super disappointed however the fries were good so I will give them two stars for that. Also it's worth noting that in the time I was there maybe 10 people got food so it was not like it was busy at all and you could tell the host up front did not want to be there. All in all super sad experience, the food was edible and we were hungry so we ate it but honestly I find myself wanting to doordash some...

The past handful of times I've been, there is ALWAYS a problem with my online to go order. Today in fact, I've gone to a different restaurant today that is a favorite of mine after walking out of Bonchon because when I arrived at my pickup time, I was told very nonchalant that they didn't have my order, it was because there were no sliders (so they decided I guess to make none of it or contact me regarding the issue, but I think they didn't even know my order was in the system) and told me I could go ahead and order again. Ridiculous, no apology, no offer to make right, just basically in their own words, oh well, we don't have it..so you gonna order or what? Terrible customer service, terrible communication, and I will NOT be going back. The shame is that if you see my reviews below, I love the food here, but in the past 10 months or so, they've totally ruined themselves.
I will also add they typically take 45 min to prepare orders online in the past and for me it was a 40 min drive so... yeah. Basically like saying oh well, you gotta wait another 45 min for your food.
Addictively good chicken wings...I mean seriously, outrageously, deliciously good. They had a very light but cripsy exterior that did not lose any texture due to the sauces they used to coat it. We had a 10 piece half and half (5 garlic soy, 5 spicy). Not sure which flavor I liked more. I would honestly always buy it half and half. We also had the bulgogi fried rice which was rich and flavorful, but not over the top due to the veggies which added freshness to the dish. The pork buns were also tasty, but i wish they'd used a bigger piece of pork belly. The slices were a little short and didn't fill the bun all the way across. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return.
I have now been a second time. The chicken wings were just as good as the previous trip. The pork buns were not as great. The slaw was very heavy with mayo flavor. The chicken fried rice was not quite as good as the bulgogi fried rice either.
We've now been a third time. The wings are brilliant as ever. Tried the spicy chicken sliders, which were quite good. They're basically the same concept as the pork belly buns but a different bread and meat. Tried the bulgogi bibimbap as well. It was sub par. I have eaten much better versions before. Probably would not...
Read moreMe and my friends have been on a quest to find some of the best wings in Orlando. One of the names that came up frequently was Bonchon. I had never heard of it before, and it's taken me months to finally make a visit, but I finally got there.
Parking was adequate, but I can see that in busier times, it can be a challenge with all of the other eateries so close together. Also, the hours at this location are only until 8 p.m., so that's been another reason that it's taken me so long to make the trip. They have another location that's much farther from me that's open later.
It's not a large establishment, but it can be labeled as somewhat niche, lending to a more intimate environment. Not a large staff, somewhat limited seating, and to me, it was rather dim on lighting inside. I neglected to grab a photo or two of the interior, but large groups may not be able to sit together. We were planning a rather large outing to here, but plans changed. Maybe for the best now having seen the space.
The food. I had the Bulgogi. Very tasty, however, the rice was a bit dry to me. That's the only knock I'll give it. The presentation was nice, and it was warm. It was served with an actual oversized metal spoon, which was weird, as the other plasticware came in the to go style plastic bag. I was a bit confused on that one. I also tried the chicken. I like the idea of not only having wings, but drumsticks too. For flavours, I tried what they call half and half. So some of the chicken was their soy garlic and the other was spicy. The soy garlic had a good taste to it. I believe the soy overtook the garlic, however as I really didn't taste a lot of garlic. The spicy was indeed spicy. Not overpowering, but enough so that I could taste it. The chicken was crispy, but not as crispy as I was led to believe in watching video reviews. It seemed in the reviews that they may have mic'd the moments they were biting into their food to obtain that crunch sound (or maybe they just were eating the chicken plain). Either way, just something I noticed.
Overall, not bad and it's something to try. I will honestly say I've had better experiences with wings, but these were definitely on the positive side of what you can find for...
