We had a five day stay. Although on the day of check out we were promised a full refund, this hotel got my Hilton honors account shut down. Now I’ve lost all my points and ability to stay. The problems were an intermittently working air conditioner system in the room. We were sweating here, even my child complained. One of the beds was bowing up like a U and the springs were popping out, the WiFi never would connect to any of our devices for more than three minutes at a time. When I mentioned the problems to the manager on the day of check out Kathy Kearney, she promised a full points refund however she stated she didn’t know how to issue them back. Upon contact to the Hilton honors guest assistance desk they spoke to her and gave her instruction on how to do this step by step. During our stay we spoke to the front desk and house keeping and were told we should come back after they do their upcoming renovations. I woke up yesterday morning with a partial points refund on our Hilton honors account. Yesterday afternoon I get an email from Hilton stating that our account was closed and that due to our unsatisfactory stay we should find another hotel chain to stay going forward. I don’t know how this happened but now all of our points are gone and our account is closed. On day three of day five I fell on this property outside due to extremely high grass. I am still recovering from that fall as I am disabled. I mentioned it to Kathy when we checked out because the day after it happened they had a lawn service out there mowing and weed eating that area. I might have to get an attorney at this point for my injuries. Super upset at the negligence and treatment by this property and total disregard by Hilton! I would not stay here! The hotel is extremely dated and out of touch with reality.
I forgot to mention that it smelled like urine in the bedside table drawer where there was a bible. It was awful. 😢 One of the pillow cases had stuff all over it on one side. We had requested an accessible room and this room was not accessible for any reason. It was not for hearing or physical accessibility. I wrote down the issues on paper and gave them to Kathy Kearney. She gave me a folio upon checkout stating full refund of points and we did not receive that at all. It has been a week. I have attached photos of issues that I could. I wasn’t going to leave a review at all but since this place didn’t care about our family then I want to warn others of how they are.
One last thing, the lid to the oatmeal warmer was gone completely, when I asked about it the lady in the food area said she had asked the management a hundred times to buy the new lid because theirs was broken. So basically it’s sitting in the breakfast area uncovered. So gross. Who wants to eat oatmeal that can have random stuff fall into it and just not sanitary at all. It’s cooked oatmeal sitting there without a proper enclosure. There’s no way it can be up to temperature or safe. They could have at least put a makeshift lid on it to keep flies or other items from falling in it.
I pray this place gets its act together! We are completely devastated our only trip before my daughter started school for the new year was completely miserable at this place. No new room was offered.

Read moreWe have stayed here more times than I can count. The rooms are always very clean and well appointed. The beds are comfortable as is the sofa. they have the typical in room Amana to use that one would expect. Also, there are all the amenities one with expect for a suites hotel such a as laundry, fitness cente,r and business center. The owners of this hotel to go above and beyond most other places with some small touches that really make a big difference when you're staying with them. For example, the hotel is pet-friendly and ar the front desk, there are treats for dogs. Additionally, every evening there are fresh-baked cookies brought in for guests. This hotel simply embodies a greater standard of customer service than many of its competitors in the area. The staff here have always been friendly and helpful. Once, I actually left some valuables in the room after checking out. These were untraceable items that could have very easily disappeared. However, once I was home I received a phone call from the hotel notifying me that housekeeping had found my valuables and turned them into the front desk. I was prepared to make another three hour drive down, retrieve my valuables and drive 3 hours back home. Instead, the hotel remembered me from my several previous atays and asked when I would be returning. I returned approximately a month later and they held my valuables and kept them safe during that time. Please do not think for one moment that I am suggesting that anyone rely upon this as opposed to their own due diligence in safeguarding their valuables. I only relay the story because I did not do my due diligence and it is a testament to their integrity, honesty and customer service that my valuables were returned to me on my next trip in the same condition I had left them. One other feature of this hotel that is very nice is that it is always quiet. I cannot remember a time when we have heard people running in the halls or children being loud although children were present, or any other excessive noise. did last comment I would like to make about the hotel is that in the kitchenette they have a full size refrigerator. This is a much nicer touch than the typical apartment/dorm refrigerator found in...
Read moreI'm notorious on Amazon and Google for my brutally honest reviews, so believe what you read here. For evidence, go read my other reviews. Riveting stuff, if I do say so myself. Anyway, this hotel has been great, but not perfect. A couple things have been negative, one of which could have been fixed if we had asked, but we didn't, so that's on us. So I'll get into the cons. The biggest problem we've had is that the pull out bed in the couch was broken when we set it up for our son. The top part of the black cloth thing that holds the mattress up is completely detached from the top rail so when he laid his head down on his pillow, it would fall through and not support his head at all. We were running late for our dinner theater show so we decided not to ask to switch rooms. We opted to take the mattress out of the couch and put it on the floor. It hasn't been the best sleeping arrangement, but our son has been a real trooper. The next thing is that some of the outlets don't work, which is a bit inconvenient. I'm not sure if some of them require a switch to be in the on position to work, but we flipped every switch we could find and they still wouldn't work. No big deal. Most worked, so it was fine. Everything else was pretty good. My husband normally doesn't sleep well in hotels because the pillows aren't usually up to his standards, but these ones were! A first! The pool was really nice. We had a good swim as a family. Memories were definitely made here and we're thankful. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels as we both used to work for an inventory company on a travel team before we had kids. When I tell you a hotel is good, it's definitely good.
One last thing. The breakfast was alright. Not the absolute best, but it's free, so I'm not gonna put up a big fuss. We actually chose this hotel rather than the Fox lodge or whatever it's called that we usually stay in when we come here because we didn't want to have to pay 100+ dollars for breakfast for six people every morning. Yeah, it adds up. I'll take an alright breakfast over a good but expensive breakfast any day. Overall, I would definitely...
