Terrible because at 1:00 am you can hear people still up right outside your door and in the pictures it makes you think that there is a hot tub but it is just a baby pool and people are smoking all over the place and then in the rooms when you walk into the bathroom there are used and wet towels and then the lights don't even work at all and also the outlets don't even work either and the rooms are small and then there are rude Indian people that run the place and they will just walk into your room without asking and also you have to pay for the ice and the pool is tiny and the air conditioning is so loud that I could not get any sleep and outside people throw garbage and food all over the ground and the lamps are destroyed and the sign says that there is a Jacuzzi but there isn't and the people there are rude and outside there is burnt cigarettes on the ground that you can accidentally step on and there were some pee stains on the toilet and then when you close the door it automatically locks so if you accidentally leave the key in the room then you are locked out of the room and the wifi is terrible and if you order a no smoking room then you get a room right next to a smoking room and then the breakfast is extremely small and then the fence around the pool has spiderwebs all over it and there is a ton of old gum in the pool and outside of the pool and they don't even clean it up and you cant even understand the people that work there because they are Indian and the coffee is burnt and the coffee in the room is expired and the fridge is tiny and then the microwave is tiny and barely works and it's hard to use and the staff doesn't even talk to the guests about complaints and the fridge stinks so bad and there is no remote for the TV and then the other people that was staying there looked shady and then it is very noisy and you can easily hear the people that are staying above you and nextdoor and there was no soap for the shower and there are stains all over the toilet and the bed is hard and uncomfortable the fridge is warm and the outlets were very loose so my charger for my phone kept on falling out preventing use and the room is tiny and the room is unorganized and the light switch has no use and it's hard to open the pool gate and the sheets for the bed are way too small for the bed and the key to the room barely works and the hotel rooms are...
Read moreHad stayed here once before and it was ok for the money. Was run down some but clean, but you can't expect great for that price. This time room was really run down, disheveled furniture, tape on bottom of tub, broke stopper for tub, nasty and run down heater which wouldn't heat the bathroom but heated the room.. first thing the jacuzzi tub would not run any water on the faucet for hot water. Maintenance came and fixed it. We first filled up tub with cold water and turned on jets to be sure they worked and no mold in jets. Then let water out and ran it again and took a bath. While in the tub my boyfriend noticed floor all the way to bed felt soft and squishy, when pressing on floor water was coming up around the interlocking sections of the flooring. And I was still in the tub and had not overfilled tub or got out of the tub.so no reason for floor to be leaking water. We were upset about it but a short time later we tried to run another bath and the hot water faucet would not cut off. He went to front desk and maintenance was called again he worked on the faucet and we made him aware of the water under the flooring. Then we requested to move rooms especially. We had to go back and forth with maintenance and the front desk , and both of them supposedly talked to manager on phone then was told they would not move us then my boyfriend asked for a refund and was told we would have to deal with booking.com if we wanted to get a refund.my boyfriend stated front desk was rude towards him when he turned the keys in and checked out. We did not get refunded for that night supposedly booking com is supposed to pay him money back for the second night. Have enclosed some pictures from the room. It's also in my opinion very shady that you can book this hotel under two separate names. Smokey view hotel is what is on the sign. But the two receipts have pin oak parkway and red carpet inn. Kind of makes you wonder why this property is operating apparently...
Read moreI took my wife on a spur of the moment overnight getaway to Pigeon Forge to keep her mind occupied since today (Jan. 7) would have been her dad's 80th birthday and I was wary when I got Pin Oak Parkway Inn on Hotwire because of the bad reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised, especially for $29. ||The name has changed to Smoky View Inn, which was confusing once we got here and Google Maps was trying to direct us here but we didn't see a sign for Pin Oak Inn. My wife called the number Hotwire gave us and the front desk clerk told her of the name change. When we called my dad for his birthday (Jan. 6) and I told him what we were paying he joked, "I hope you don't have to use an outhouse" then when I posted the picture of the room that I have posted here on Facebook, Dad commented, "oh good an indoor bathroom."||Anyway it's close to a bunch of stuff, as you can see in the pictures. I took them in the parking lot from behind our car. You can walk to Hard Rock, Hatfield and McCoys, WonderWorks and the Titanic. It's a busy street so you may want to drive though. There are a ton of other things around it within a mile or less, both attractions and restaurants. The Island shopping and dining is about a mile and a half away.||We will not hesitate to stay here again. I have four days off at Valentine's Day and with it being midweek, rooms are cheap. If I can get this motel again cheaply, we will...
