We stayed at the Inn and let’s start with the bad first since it’s minimal at best but still needs to be addressed !! The coffee is horrible !! It’s instant coffee poured into a dispenser and has a very bad acidic after taste!! The single pods in the rooms were a little better but again not by much !! The breakfast buffet stayed stocked. Everything is instant type food. The eggs, gravy sausage etc. it’s not bad, but you will find after a few mornings, you don’t want it any more !! The TVs are old!! No way to adjust the screen brightness, even though we only used it to check news and weather with exception of some cartoons for our son, the TVs need to be replaced !! The toilet handle had to be raised up manually after every flush or the bowl would not fill. ||The good: Plenty of breakfast options, cereal, yogurt, plain oatmeal (not the best), juice options, waffles (you make), plain bagels, powdered eggs, instant sausage gravy, sausage, biscuits (not homemade) Rooms were quiet. Yes you hear foot traffic in the hall but not as much as you would think. AC works great, it is loud when on, but it’s the style of AC and I will take a cold room over sound in the heat we experienced any day !! Shower worked well, plenty of hot water and had no issues getting clean towels any time we needed them ! You do not need towels for the swim area, these are provided as well which was great !! Beds are soft and the pillows were feather type which made them soft. We did bring our own pillows, and I would recommend doing this if you have pillows you just love to sleep on ! Staff was always friendly, cleaning staff always had a willing to provide things you may need !! Trolley stop right next to the INN made it easy to have access to the transit ! $3 per person pass per day! Outside swim area was a huge hit with our son. They will close it if any bad weather moves in, but you have access to the indoor pool if that happens !! Glad to see safety a priority for guests !! Lazy river is not bad, but doesn’t really move you like you expect. ||Note: The slide will be a huge attraction for any kids. Don’t expect parents to police their kids !! It just doesn’t happen. Our son got mildly injured when several kids were coming down the slide at the same time and landed on him right after he hit the water !! There are signs in place, but kids are kids and some parents just don’t care !! Bring a pool noodle, large floats not ok !! ||We will stay here again and already planning our next trip !! I will bring our own single serve Keurig machine next time so we can have coffee we...
Read moreFirst of all, when I booked my information said the hotel, and even had sent us the address for the hotel to check in (not like it's a massive difference), but confusing. We ended up at the Inn though.
The room was okay at best, it smelt musty-ish, and like the previous guests OR housekeeping were heavy smokers. The layout of the room was funky (power cord for the light was ALLLL the across the wall and not behind the table or behind the bed in that outlet. The bed was okay, too soft for us (that's a personal preference though :p) but the pillows weren't made for a king bed, not even a standard bed really just a bunch of small pillows piled up on the bed. Some bad blood stains on them, the comforter also had blood stains on it (nothing major, but obviously blood stains.) I know this resort makes enough money to toss out yucky bedding and replace it with new when they get to that state. Clean or not, blood stained bedding is a bad look.
The couch "bed" was a joke, I've slept on a floor comfier than that. Luckily our kids didn't mind sleeping on it.. they're little and aren't long enough to have felt the bars holding it up... When I opened it though, there were socks from who even knows how long ago folded up in it, trash, hair, and fingernails under the couch (ew). Furthermore there was only 1 pillow and a pile of sheets supplied for the couch bed. No real heavy blanket or pillow cases... My husband had to go get pillows etc. from the desk.
The bathroom was alright, the floor in the bathtub was "squishy" I guess, I don't know how to describe it was like I was walking on air bubbles. The wall in the shower had what looked to be hair rinsed out of a razor after shaving caked on to it which was gross.
Housekeeping was overly rude. They pounded on our door and tried to come in (thankfully the latch was locked also) even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door.
The door to the balcony was dicey, it would only lock with the door handle, the latch lock at the top wasn't lined up so it couldn't be used.
Overall I don't think we will return to this hotel/inn again. We'll stick to others we have had incredibly better rooms with. 🤷🏼♀️ I also wouldn't recommend it to anyone personally, maybe we just got unlucky,...
Read moreWe have been to pigeon Forge 12 times and we have always stayed up the same little motel. Wow that was sufficient for my Husband and I, we were bringing our grandchildren to Dollywood. We were looking for someplace that was big enough and spacious enough in the room and had a nice pool. While some aspects of the room itself Was showing some age, they have upgraded a lot of it as well. We got the family suite, it did not have a full kitchenette. There was a mini fridge a small sink and microwave. The upgraded sink in the bathroom, which is a double sink and faucet. The shower was nice. The mattresses were wonderful. There is room for some maintenance work to be done like a little painting and some caulking of a lot of cracks, but that was not important.|Breakfast is included, and it consisted of sausage eggs biscuit with sausage gravy you can make your own waffles oatmeal as well as cereals. There is a lot of room in the breakfast area as well as sitting outside, which was nice on a cool morning. However, the three times I got the coffee. It was terrible. My husband and I argued about it, but it to me tasted like it was burnt, and it was just bad maybe could do something about the coffee. And I’m not gonna complain about the breakfast because it was included in the price.|Pool area was refreshing. There was a lot of space they had really nice lounge chairs not the cheap junkie ones that fall apart. There was a table area that looks like at some time or another could have a bar open. The indoor pool smells so bad of chlorine. I don’t know how anybody was able to stay inside of that. Would...
