Ashley's Island House — Hotel in Put-in-Bay Township

Very easy to find the location. Love that you can also rent golf carts here and are cheaper then most other places although did not rent from here. Was trying to get in last minute but was booked so had to stay elsewhere. Was looking to stay second night but did not know most places do not have one night available on weekend so couldn't find anywhere to stay since I had only booked my previous room for one night. Called back here and just by chance someone had just cancelled and he had a room. Anyways long story short anyone that is looking for a nice relaxing stay stay here. Very welcoming feels like you are at home. Very clean comfortable bed/ room. Love that they have the big outdoor porch to sit and chat and have a drink. Love that every room has it's own bathroom and tv. Love the hot breakfast every morning. Very good tasty filling just what you need to start day. Good variety. Love the parlor room where he let us keep our luggage before we left island after we checked out of room. Dave works so very hard and has amazing hospitality. I loved every second of this stay and I know many other people have as well. Thanks Dave for everything...

This was our first visit to Put In Bay in many years. The trip was for a friend and her birthday get away. We could not have picked a better place!. The rooms and accommodations were beyond any of my expectations. Very clean rooms, the whole house had such a homey atmosphere; but my best was the full length of the house front porch. Just brought some good old memories and so enjoyable to sit and watch people go by. Everyone was so friendly. The home is so centrally located that it makes for an easy walk to restaurants, shops and just all that is going on. We opted to do a golf cart due to our age group. The owner Dave gave us so much good information on what to see and where to get our best meals - and he wasn't wrong. Fabulous food and great shops. We booked another stay for next year and already looking forward the the stress free days!! Great place to just sit back and relax or fill your day with fun things to do. Short walk to the marina which is always alive with people, boats and just the beauty of the water. A lovely get away and so close to many...

If your looking for a clean, comfortable, relaxing and a great environment STAY at Ashley’s Island House!!! This was our first time visiting Put-In-Bay, and Dave (host) made sure to make us feel welcomed. Each room has a theme, we were in the Bird Room. Room was exceptionally CLEAN, bathroom and shower CLEAN, drawers to put our clothes in, everything to make you feel comfortable. Let’s talk about the bed…majority of the time I don’t sleep on the first night in a new place, not here, I was out like a light on my first night!!!! Breakfast was a huge spread, toast, eggs, sausage, hash browns, OJ and so much more. My favorite place was and is the front porch! It’s super cozy and Dave has ceiling fans with lights for night-time sitting. We also rented a gold cart which he took the time to show a newbie how to use it. We enjoyed our time so much at Ashley’s Island House that we booked a room for a September getaway already!
