I stayed here 5 days for a work trip. No way this hotel has 4.2 stars. They must be buying Google reviews because this was the WORST customer service I have seen. At check in we noticed that the coffee supplies were not replenished in the room, and there was a dirty sock on the floor from the previous guest. There were only two hangers for two people/5 days. I went downstairs to ask for hangers and coffee because no one answered the phone at the front desk. They never came to bring the items I requested so I had to go down and ask again. During the entire stay they never came to clean my room, empty the trash or bring clean towels. I called the front desk to ask why and they told me they don't clean the rooms. I went downstairs to ask for more towels- they refused to give me towels because they "needed our dirty towels first". They assured us they would bring them right up. They never sent the towels. We called the front desk over and over for 30 min and they didn't answer the phone. Now I am rightfully frustrated. I gather the dirty towels and bring them downstairs- no one was at the desk. It was only 10 pm. I say Hello, can I get some towels??? The man at the front desk was stocking the drink cooler. He immediately started screaming at me that I better "take it down a notch" because he isn't "putting up with it." He came towards me in a very aggressive manner. He threatened me and said he would "take care of my attitude" When I said what are you going to do he threatened to throw me out of the hotel. Thank goodness for the sweet maintence guy (Josh)- who stopped him from approaching me. He continued to make derogatory comments as the two of us walked away to get clean towels. I am appalled at how they treat customers. NEVER AGAIN

Had a really nice stay. We arrived at 3am and most hotels give you a hard time to try and check in but they were more than accommodating. We got our first room and had to switch because of the 3 am check in which was not a problem. The rooms are large and have a kitchenette with fridge, stove, and microwave. They offer Paul Mitchell products as your bathroom toiletries, be careful when you shower the rubbermat is under the sink so you don’t slip. Staff is friendly and attentive. My only critique is that when we were leaving in our second room there was a single small roach. Parking cost the same as if you valet unless you park on the street or in a parking lot down town for cheaper. You can text the valet to bring you the car before you come down. Breakfast is free but super busy so come early.

This hotel is awesome! We stayed here for a weekend. The area is so beautiful, just 5 minutes walk from Alamo and Riverwalk, the main tourist destination . All of the staff were friendly. Everything is clean and modern. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room. Checking in and out was super simple. I highly recommend to park the car in hotel’s garage , otherwise you waste money on meters.

I updated my original post as I noticed there were several typos. I have bad and good, and I did take into consideration that they are remodeling but the room I was in, the "queen studio" kinda let me down. RM 404, bed was hard as a rock, I first sat on it, it was bouncy so I thought oh it will be good to lay on later, but the mattress was so hard my hips were hurting each time I turned on my side. Pillows are so ridiculously soft they go almost flat, I used three of the pillows to make one-ish pillow. I just did not get much sleep but I needed to stay in that area for appointments. 2nd night I tried to seep on the sofa, a tad better, but really wanted a BED...... This room did not have any USB ports, however I called downstairs, and they were kind enough to find me a plug so that I could use my USB charger. The front counter people were EXTREMELY wonderful.. LOVED the full-size fridge, little stove, pots/pans, utensils & plates. Saturday Breakfast was reconstituted scrambled eggs, sausage crumbles & cut potatoes. Sunday they had little omelet things, cut potatoes, eXXXtra fatty sausage patties (not being facetious), they also have two pancake makers, very tasty, lots of toppings, they also have a little taco bar, but get there early for it. The juice machine had orange and apple juice, very cold and crisp. There was a big pitcher of milk for the cereals, along with two different flavors of Greek yogurt, some bagels but I did not find any cream cheese and there were different breads for toasting. The lobby is so hot because there are two doors one leading to the parking area and one door leading out front and they open constantly so the A.C. just doesn't feel present, it is very uncomfortable to have to stand there and wait to check in or check out AND also making it so warm in the breakfast area next to it where I sat while waiting for the line to dissipate at the pancake and coffee stations, it was just so hot and uncomfortable I had to get the food to go, several people did the same thing as we were commenting on it while in the VERY hot elevator returning to our rooms, no air at all in the lifts, none of them. So, I'm hoping that this remodeling improves conditions so I can stay there again. The location is WONDERFUL...... NOW, note, if you wanna park your car on the property it's $40 a day with in and out privileges, so luckily I did not have a car but nobody could pick me up and visit for a while they had to just pick me up out front and drop me off as there is NO nearby parking, which wasn't good cuz some people had to drive a long way..... like my friend who had driven me all the way here from Seguin and could not stay, tour the hotel, or use the restroom before going back..... they had to just drop me off and go.... another thing that I was uncomfortable with, sorry but, while waiting to get coffee after breakfast, I noticed that the cleaning girl was using the same handi-wipes rag and spray bottle to clean the chairs and then she would go to the tables and wipe them too, she had just gotten done cleaning the sofa type seats just under the TV in the breakfast area near the coffee creamers............. so definitely did not feel comfortable going to one of the tables to eat, another big bummer is breakfast is super early and ends at 9am m-f and 9:30am on weekends so you can't sleep in if you're vacationing or a night person, it's as if they DON'T want you to go in there. I'd understand 10am, some places we go are til 11am.......There is some 'almost' fresh fruit I saw bananas and green apples, a little picked thru, the banana I got the first day was green outside but perfectly ripe inside the second day only one was left that the breakfast rm girl got for me from the back, green outside but almost all bruised on the inside so didn't get much of it. will definitely give it another chance when cooler weather arrives, and the remodeling is done. again the location is perfect and the workers there were so KIND...

Good morning, yesterday we arrived at the hotel we had booked around 6pm. When we went to check in they informed us that we had not paid for the reservation. So I showed my email with the successful payment of this, I opened my bank account application and showed it too. Then they said they had to contact booking because they needed a virtual credit card. We were waiting for more than four hours. The one who attended us at the property identified himself as Michael. After three hours they told us that they could only check in two rooms when my reservation was for three rooms.

During the whole time they only told me that booking had to communicate with them because you did not have access to the information. I had to call booking and the person who attended me told me that the reservation was confirmed and that he did not understand why they did not give me the rooms. They contacted the hotel and Michael kept losing a virtual card to booking. But booking told him to enter a system and they said they did not have access. Until another employee said that because he said they did not. When they did have access to what booking was asking for. After that they finally assigned me the rooms.

Then the same man in the lobby offers us valet parking for the three cars without any charge for the waiting time. But we tell him that we are going to take a shower and go eat and bring the cars that we already had in another parking lot.

When we returned from dinner at almost 1:30am we met another person because he was not there. This woman says her name is Alina and says that he does not have the authority to do that and that we have to charge a car because he said there were only two. Then we ask to speak to the manager of the place and he says that he is not coming until the next day until 12pm. We go back to take the last car out since she says that if we leave it there they would charge it, at 2am we had to take the car back to another parking lot. And this morning when I checked out they tell me that everything is fine but when I check my email it turns out that they are charging me for a car that was not parked there.

My whole experience was the worst in the world. I need my money back I don't think it's fair to spend all my time arguing with a hotel that has problems with their reservations and customer service due to lack of competent staff. Spending over 6 hours waiting and every month I went to lobby more problems I had. From the time we went in there until the time we left only problems. It was stressful for everyone and frustrating a group of 10 people waiting is too much. Even at 2am Alina dared to tell us that she was going to call security because we were not accepting what she said. We even had threats...

🚨VALET “LOST” MY KEYS🚨 First I’d like to share this is our 2nd time booking because we liked the hotel the first time we stayed but it will definitely be our last. I get a call from the front desk stating that they could not move our vehicle because we didn’t leave our keys with valet, when in fact we did, I let her know we did & she puts me on hold to talk to valet & gets back on the phone to say “well valet says you didn’t and they don’t have them”. So my husband & I were concerned and we were leaving anyways to go eat so we go down to the lobby/valet mind you with our 3 kids to go see what happened to our keys. The lady that called me was down there & we let her know we are there to see about our keys and right off the bat she has an attitude and points to valet and just says “you need to talk to them” my husband proceeds to ask her “what happens if they lost our keys? Can we look back on the cameras” and as he’s talking, she walking away and says “we don’t have anyone here that has access to them, you need to talk to the valet”. We proceed to go to the valet & it’s the guy my husband physically handed the keys to & my husband is telling him “I literally put my keys in your hand” and the guy argues back and tells him he didn’t, my husband proceeds to tell him exactly what he was doing in the moment he handed him the keys. The valet guy says “you didn’t I would’ve remembered that” I said “sir I was literally standing in the lobby waiting for my husband while he waited for you guys to take our vehicle” he says “really where?” Instead of being helpful he continues to argue that we didn’t give him the keys. My husband went to our vehicle to double check that they didn’t put them in there & another young man comes & the guy arguing with us tells him what’s going on. The younger valet proceeds to ask our name, looks us up and guess what? THE KEYS WERE IN THEIR POSSESSION in their lock box. If you were the lady that worked the 8pm shift & valet, you guys were so rude and so unhelpful. Instead of arguing try being more accommodating & taking responsibility, and help the situation. These are people’s belongings YOU are responsible for especially if we are paying for a service that’s $50 a night, and we were here 2 nights. The lady also never checked on us to see if we got it solved since she didn’t even stay to help but was quick to be rude as hell or not even a call to apologized for not believing us when we told her we gave him the keys. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else & these 2 get an attitude check! Wish I would’ve gotten both of their names but this happened 7/2/25...
