There is so much that i could say but it would take too long. So I'll just highlight my visit: We called and asked could they accomadate 25 people, they said sure and come on. We arrived at 9:04 am when we got there they said 30 mins which turned into an hour. We had already looked at the menu and knew what we wanted. The waiter took our orders by family to make to tickets easier (It was a total disaster) He told us to allow 30-45 mins to receive our food. An hour and 15 mins had passed and still no food. -The kids begin to get really moody because we had waited so long. One of the waiters passing by told my daughter to MOVE while she was walking to get back to her seat. VERY RUDE! -After an hour and 40 mins the food begin to come out but not even how the order was taken. 1 person in every other group got their food. It was ridicoulous. Also the table that came after and sat behind us got all of their food before us. Another 30 mins passed and by this time our Coach, his son, and wife had to leave without their food because it still had not come out and they had another game at NOON to play. This was after we had been there since 9 am!!!! I went to speak with the manager of the day and she was very unbothered. However, she let me know that whatever food had not touched the table would be compensated. That's fine but how about holding your employees accountable instead of wasting hundreds of dollars. The kitchen staff at this place is terrible!!!! Finally, at this point everyone in our group from the Age of 7-50 was pissed!!!!!! They finally brought my food out and at this point my husband food had come on 45 mins before mine. Another person in our group ordered oatmeal and it had sat for so long it looked like dried up Boogars when she received it. How about i tasted my food... DISGUSTING! not even 5 mins after swallow I was outside the door of the restuarant PUKING my insides up from the Foolishness they called FOOD! ALL in All the health department needs to pay this place an Unexpected visit. I wouldn't take my DOG here for a bowl of water on the HOTTEST day! NEVER AGAIN!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! NASTYYYYYYYYY! TERRIBLE SERVICE! Did I mention that it was so terrible that none of our party had to pay. That was 25 people, you do the MATH! Thats just how...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but this experience absolutely necessitated it—especially after my team and I had just finished a 16-hour day working feverishly on a local conference at the hotel.
This was hands-down one of the worst restaurant experiences my team and I have had in over 30 years of traveling around the country. Our server was kind and clearly new, but the mistakes were constant—wrong items, delays, and confusion. Dinner was dragged out to nearly two hours. One of my employees was told his chicken entrée was “unfortunately out,” only for it to miraculously appear five minutes later. Another, who ordered salmon, didn’t receive his dinner until 15 minutes after the rest of us were already eating. Drinks were spilled, replacements never came, and no manager ever appeared.
When I pressed our waitress to please have a manager come by, the bartender arrived instead. I asked if he was the manager; he smugly said, “No, I help the manager,” then demanded to know what I needed. When I repeated that I wanted the manager, he huffed like a child and finally fetched someone who looked more like a disheveled high school senior than a professional. At that point, it was impossible to take the situation seriously.
Earlier in the day we had enjoyed an excellent lunch, which is why we returned. Unfortunately, the evening service was the complete opposite—unprofessional, uncommunicative, and absurd. To make matters worse, gratuity was included without being disclosed, and we tipped again on top of it. I even tipped that bartender for drinks I should never have had to pay for—something I regret deeply.
As a business owner myself, I would be very concerned with that crew on a Sunday night. The customer is always right—you don’t treat them as though they don’t matter. My recommendation: do not go there on a Sunday night. And if you see the pompous bartender and the inexperienced waitress, save yourself the headache and head across the street to Yard’s...
Read moreWe had a really disappointing experience here on Mother’s Day. We had a reservation for 12:00p.m., but we didn’t get seated until almost 1:30. No one kept us updated on what was going on, aside from saying the kitchen was backed up. Meanwhile, we watched several parties who arrived after us get seated before us. No one offered us water, a seat at the bar, or anything to make the wait more manageable. It just felt like we were completely ignored.
The hostess was also pretty rude to my father-in-law, telling him to move without acknowledging him or even speaking respectfully. When we were finally seated, we were placed next to a smaller group, and part of our seating was taken away to accommodate them.
At the table, things didn’t improve much. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like water and silverware. A carafe was dropped off with plastic cups still stacked on top, and I waited a long time just to get the Topo Chico I ordered. The food was okay, but at that point, it was hard to enjoy anything.
We talked to the manager, but that was disappointing too. He didn’t apologize or acknowledge what we were saying—just said the meal would be comped and walked away. When a server came with pastries we had already declined, the manager snapped at him to take them back, and the server rolled his eyes at us and walked off.
Even after all that, we still tipped our waitress because we could see she was doing her best. But the whole experience really put a damper on what should have been a special day with our family. To top it off, my mother-in-law ended up feeling sick later that afternoon, which made things even worse.
I’m sharing this so others know what to expect. I understand holidays can be hectic, but kindness, communication, and basic hospitality should never be overlooked—especially on a day meant for celebration. I also sent an email to the owner prior to leaving this review and that...
