super cute and unique cafe. there's an art gallery upstairs to check out while you wait for your table. most of the pieces were created by local artists, so it was really cool to get a glimpse into the (non tourist related) culture.
this place is a chocolate lover's dream! the menu is packed with familiar favorites which all are infused with a chocolatey twist! i had a chocolate grilled cheese and chocolate smoothie. the flavors are not ones id ever think to combine myself, but somehow they made it work! the sweet shop in the store was irresistible. i loaded up on delicious and artistic chocolates and candy bars to take back to the mainland. i wish there was one of these in my hometown!
one caveat: this is definitely a novelty/experience kind of spot. it's not necessarily the first thing that would come to mind if i was in the mood for a seriously filling meal. but it's perfect for a traveler visiting osj, a first date, or...
Read moreMy partner and I didn’t enjoy this place at all. We had high expectations of the place, but were disappointed.
I ordered the chocolate martini. It sadly wasn’t the best and it was served in a to go plastic cup. For $14 I expected more and a proper cup. I felt ripped off.
I asked for the chocolate lava cake ($10) and the employee told me I could just pick it up from the refrigerated area in the front. They just heat it up in the microwave with the plastic container and all. EXTREMELY disappointing. It felt like an expensive Starbucks reheated refrigerated item. This cake wasn’t very tasty and pricy for what I received. I also noticed looking back on the menu, it didn’t come with ice cream or anything… not sure if I was ripped off or lied to. The dessert looks very different online.

Read moreThe place is well located, right in the heart of Condado area. Right around the corner there's a self-service parking lot; it's pretty convenient. If you park there, remember to validate your ticket at the Chocobar counter. About the experience, coffee and chocolate are good. Expensive, of course, but it's common practice in the area due to tourism. However, my coffee was $3.85 and after we left, I noticed I was charged $4.90 for a little coffee. Maybe the guy at the cashier made a mistake. The madelines biscuits are delicious. Although we had to wait like 30 minutes for our coffee because they forgot about us. The long table by the glass window was dirty and it seems like no one wanted to clean it. Overall, I don't think we'll be back in a while if ever. Plenty options around the area to...
