I live and travel all over for work in AK, and the Breeze Inn is truly one of my favorites. While prices in Seward can be high, the Breeze offers great value for its location, consistency, and service. The rooms are always clean, the staff is attentive and kind, and I appreciate that they provide toiletries in singles rather than dispensers. Brenda, who works mornings, is especially accommodating and has such infectious, kind energy. The building itself has a quaint, classic Alaska feel… it’s exactly the kind of no-fuss, welcoming place you hope to find here. The location is unbeatable, right next to the water and mountains, and even has a gas station next door that stays open late for anything you need. It’s within walking distance from all of the shops and restaurants downtown also. The attached restaurant/lounge is also *chef’s kiss.* The fare is tasty, the service is consistent, and the food and drink prices are as reasonable as you’ll find in Seward (seriously, you won’t find a better deal for the quality.) The Breeze Inn has earned my business indefinitely.

I was sadly disappointed with this motel. The staff kept reminding everyone how busy they were and some attitudes definitely reflected frustration and wasn’t super pleasant to be around. The lobby smelled kinda funky, but thankfully we were only there to check in and out. They were amazing with accommodating holding luggage while checking out the area. The room was rough. Most of the outlets didn’t work, the lock on the door didn’t work, using the ac made me sick because the smell was a mix of BO and cigarettes, you could hear everything even drops of rain, you get 1 bar of soap for the sink and the shower, the shampoo and conditioner don’t match (it’s kind of like they put stuff they’ve collected from other hotels out), the pillows were so flat but thankfully there were plenty to supplement, the shower screamed (that is the only way to describe the noise), the toilet clogged and there is no plunger. Positives: the water pressure was great and the temperature of the water was good, great location, free shuttle and they’re connected to a fantastic restaurant

The staff here was very friendly & helpful! The room was very clean & the basic accommodations were available. The towels were thick & absorbent & not super scratchy like some hotel towels can be, the pillows were extra soft (how I like them, but not everyone does, there was an additional thick pillow in the room, but we didn’t use it) You might want to bring your own creamer from the local store if you like creamer because the condiment packet only contains one powder creamer pouch per packet (there were two in this room) There are cigarette butt containers outside, but they’re up on the walls, you have to look for them, I’ve never seen this style before. We came during April, so pre-season, there was no complimentary breakfast, but the adjacent restaurant of the same name had a good selection of breakfast options that were very delicious! Although the restaurant smelled of cleaning products, which was off putting, but not exactly bad. We had the chicken fried steak, tomatoes Benedict, & a half order of biscuits & gravy!

This is not an Inn, it's a motel. The full name is Breeze Inn Motel. The bathroom had so much scum i could not believe my eyes. I usually don't complain to management about rooms, just never go back to that place if i am not happy with it, but in this case i went straight back to the front desk and showed the lady the photos of the tub in the room she had given us. I said it was unacceptable. She responded that she wasn't the one who cleaned it and there was nothing she could do. I asked to have it cleaned, she said not possible, she was the only one there. I asked to be moved to another room, she said not possible, they were fully booked. I then said when I pay close to $200 per night i expect a clean room. Her response? Well, you actually got a deal because you booked through Expedia. It's actually more than that.... Like THAT justifies filth! Just look at the photos. The window seal is filthy, the fan and the buttons are filthy.. the bed cover was stained.. and the tub in the bathroom was simply unacceptable. ||Never, ever again.. I'd rather camp next time than stay at this place. Cleanliness is number one for me.||I have to say that the front desk clerk changed her tune a bit after talking to the manager and she was more "sympathetic" when i went to check if they had other rooms to move us to. The manager was also more polite than the front desk lady the night we arrived; but still no resolution. Even if they could not give us another room, she could have very well said here's 2 vouchers for a free breakfast one of the 3 days you are staying, as a token of our sincere apologies for the filthy room. But they did not even do that.. They could move us to another room, until they were able to get someone to clean that one before their other guests arrived. They did not offer ANY resolution whatsoever..||Not...

We recently stayed here since we were going for cruise tour with Kenai Fjords. We definitely don't recommend making reservation here mainly because of the service.

Firstly the room we booked didn't have a microwave. I didn't understand why some of the hotels/Airbnbs in Alaska do not have microwave in the room. We wanted to warm up some food but unfortunately, there was no microwave in the room. If you need microwave you will need to walk from one building to another and then get to the Lobby area to use microwave. Imagine how stressful this could be for someone who had checked in late in the night.

Secondly, when you make a reservation, you will not be able to identify whether its a general room or premium room. Only premium rooms have microwave. I asked if I could upgrade my room, the front desk person was not sure on how to upgrade an already reserved room and told me i have to wait till the next shift staff gets in and that was past 12am in the night. We felt this as absolutely ridiculous and also we were asked to pay additional price almost the price of premium room just for microwave. Some people might not think of this as big deal but for someone who likes to have warm food and have hot breakfast before leaving the room in the morning, this is a big thing. Also the hotel layout is very weird and you feel like you will need to walk for a mile just to get to your room from the lobby. Imagine doing this with your check in bag.

This will be my first and last stay at this hotel. Never staying here again.

Advice to the management: Please train your front desk staff on how to upgrade an existing room and also include microwave in all rooms or at least mention this on the website if the rooms have...

We arrived after departing a cruise ship. First off, the good. The woman who let us hold our bags in storage was extremely nice and helpful. We had to wait a couple hours until our room was ready which was fine. Room was pretty clean along with the bathroom which was a plus but now to the bad…

When we came to check in, the older man with the camo pants and beard was very grumpy to us. Sounded like he didn’t want to deal with out of towners. Rolled his eyes when we asked questions and answered them like we were supposed to know everything about the place.

Our 4 person room had one queen bed and one full. Fitting two average sized adults on the full bed was almost impossible. The box spring was broken and the bed basically sucked us in the middle like an abyss. The air conditioner was not cold whatsoever. They did allow us to hold the bags in storage while we awaited our shuttle. But once we checked out and were getting our stuff ready the grumpy old miserable sap kept rolling his eyes after they got our money and muttering comments under his breath towards us. He was very disrespectful to our family and to be honest, customer service is definitely not his cup of tea. I feel sorry for the other women who work with him because he gives their establishment a sour taste. We will not be staying here if we are in Seward...
