This is—hands down—one of the best homes we’ve ever rented in our travels. My family (5 individuals) stayed at Absaroka Cabin last month for a week-long trip to Yellowstone, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The cabin was extremely clean, organized, and well-cared for, and the owners provided everything we could possibly need for our stay.
Some things we especially loved: • Kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with utensils, cookware, and supplies (including a crockpot, instant pot, and propane grill supplies). • Cabin was large and modern. The kitchen and living room, in particular, were very comfortable and a great place to relax after a full day in the park. • The location was amazing. We were approximately 5 blocks from the west entrance to Yellowstone, and we easily walked to restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. • Tons of towels and linens; we probably could have lasted a month without washing any of them. • Strong, fast wifi throughout the entire cabin. • Cabin was very well insulated. Despite highs in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 20s, the house was always comfortable. In fact, we didn’t have to adjust the thermostat during our entire stay. • The owner was available and responsive via text when needed. He even loaned us two canisters of bear spray during our visit.
It’s obvious the owners invested a lot of time, money, and care in the cabin, and we’re grateful to have benefited from this investment. The next time we visit Yellowstone, Absaroka Cabin is exactly where...
Read moreGallatin Cabin: We found this rental through the favorable reviews on trip advisor. It is competitively priced and it is in great condition. Getting to the cabin is easy. It is 1/2 block off of US-20 inside of West Yellowstone. It is within walking distance of all of the places to eat. Parking is adequate if your family/group are arriving in more than one vehicle. The cabin was ready on time for our check in. If you are picky about cleanliness, then you will enjoy staying here as it was squeaky clean. The cabin is well stocked with everything that a guest would need for a short stay or a longer stay. Although it is close to US-20, there is very little traffic noise inside the cabin. There were plenty of linens for everyone. The linens were very nice and the bath towels were thick. We found one small item that needed repair. When we messaged Jeff about it, he offered to come the next day or to come after our stay. We planned to be in the park all day so we told him to come at his convenience. When we returned, not only had he done the repair, but he also washed and dried our towels. (How is that for service!)||If you are looking for a clean, quiet place to stay, with a great location and attentive hosts, then look no further than...
Read moreOur group of 10 included our adult children and two grandsons. The Absaroka Cabin had plenty of room for our family to spread out. The cabin decor and nature wood is nice and welcoming. The three bathrooms with showers were adequate for the space. No shortage of towels, nice benefit after long days in the park. The huge full kitchen had everything, and I mean everything. A large refrigerator was plenty for our week of groceries. The extra large dining area and living-room had plenty of space for family games and together time in the evenings. Booking and communications with the owner Jeff was effortless and a great peace of mind. The location is within walking distance to the Main Street area where you find lots of shops and restaurants. The wolf museum was an easy stroll. We were also able to go a couple blocks to the edge of town and watch the gorgeous sunset over the mountains. Secure trash and recycling were provided as well as a gas grill. We did not use the fire area due to the dry conditions. Parking is plentiful, we had three SUVs. A gas station is on the corner and a bar restaurant across the street....
