I PROMISE THIS WILL BE THE MOST ACCURATE REVIEW WITH PROOF! ***** LET THE DRAMA BEGIN! As I’m sure you have seen from the other reviews that some say 5 star and some that say 1 star and there isn’t much in between, let me tell you why. The 5 star reviews are from the employees from the park. I know this because I was so shocked by the conditions of this place after reading the reviews that I checked each 5 star and saw their faces working at the Rv park. As for the condition of the RV park it’s a 50/50. It’s in shambles 100% but if you’re staying inside your vehicle and not using the showers or anything you may be fine. THIS IS ALL FROM EXPERIENCE AND WITH VIDEOS OR PICTURES * if it’s a large RV you will scrape your vehicle on the trees they need trimmed. * You will also struggle with reception for satellite because the tree limbs scratching up the roof are smothering the option for reception * They stack the spots so if you are on the outside lot you have to back in over a curb and they have to guide you into it because you will have inches from trees or the other RV’s * The Rv drainage hookups are old. When you open them you can see water inches from the top. It was a concern thinking it would overflow so we didn’t use much water. * The concrete slabs slabs are broken up and a tripping hazard. Concrete blocks and garbage piled up around the walls of the camp site fences. * BATHROOMS!! mold everywhere, so dirty we wouldn’t even use them. That’s coming from someone that once showered with an inch worm in some random place outside LA. * Showers again in desperate need of repair the pictures will show you. * There is no “game room” on the premises and no communication to find out where. * The garbage cans we were using are the dumpsters next to the hotel as far as I know because there wasn’t any on our lot. AND HERE IS WHERE IT GETS WEIRD !! (Then I’ll show you videos of the condition in real time) Last night curled up in bed for the night only to be disturbed by two men laying halfway under our van hooking up to our water. My husband came out and asked what they were doing and they said they were getting water dry camping by the lake. We said “no you should go to the office and ask to use their water rather than using the water from our van”. They responded with “we are the office we work here and we need water for our dry camping”. We asked him to leave. They stood there and stared at us for about two or three minutes until my husband got somewhat aggressive and asked him to leave our van alone and get off our lot. I was a little afraid of leaving our van alone at night after that. Thank goodness we have security cameras. We didn’t have them on at the time, but we turned them on afterwards. All in all don’t believe the 5 star comments from the RV park itself. Trust your gut. This place would be a Gem if someone fixed it up. And in all honesty I’d probably stay here in a pinch if it wasn’t for them crawling under my van 🫣. It’s basically run down and in desperate need of repair. We looked and there are several RV parks near by that are SO much better. * also for some reason the videos aren’t posting so I’ll try until they do

The beds were comfortable but were too tall for kids. The hotel and the rooms were really clean. The staff was very informative and polite. They were very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff made sure to be fair with the price and gave us all applicable discounts. The price was lower than most of the area but didn't look cheap. The whiteness of the towels was outstanding. The breakfast was decent. I just wish that the eggs and potatoes were warmer but the lemonade tea was very good. I don't know if they get a lot of babies but they should get a high chair. I don't know if you get a lot of groups but it would be nice if the dining area had more chairs and a bigger family table. There was a bathroom right there in the lobby so you dont have to go all the way back to your room. I liked how peaceful it was. Having a Hispanic staff helped when the local people felt racist. Claudia and Deana were very hard workers. Deana kept cleaning and kept the breakfast area really clean and well stocked. After having such a horrible time in Madison, thanks to your hotel and staff we are leaving with better memories than we thought we would. Having a variety of snacks to buy was such a wonderful idea but the hats were too pricey and one tide pod for 2 dollars is outrageous. Having a laundromat on-site was convenient. Whoever the owner is, I want to thank her for such a great team. We called late at night the previous night but the owner wouldn't check us in because she was tired when she answered the phone. So we decided to give it a second chance and I'm glad we did.

69 dollars a night. Old school small campground. Due to the beautiful trees in the park, I doubt they’ll cut trees to make room for modern campers with slide outs. If you have a small camper or van, this will work. Pricey due to West Yellowstone. They did NOT assist us into getting into our spot nor did they for a guy pulling a 30 plus feet long camper. His camper took the help of an owner coming out to see what the fuss was all about. They really need to escort you to your spot and help out. They also put you in a spot just big enough for your camper and there is no other safe parking. We had to park sideways in front of our camper as did some others. So, Make Sure You Give Them Your Total Rig Size! The staff is friendly. I would stay again just to enjoy full hookups for a night. We prefer boondocking and dispersed camping for privacy in nature’s beautiful forests. 3 stars because it is very tight and feels really old. You can boondock 2 miles from West Yellowstone in bakers hole for about 20 bucks, 10 with access pass.

  • LET THE DRAMA BEGIN!

Update to my review. Well decided to drop to a one star after seeing their response. But I will say they changed their website to 40 foot pull through🤣. Still doesn’t change they didn’t give me a big enough space. And I guarantee other reviews with 5 star rating were wrote by their family members. Just look at the other reviews.

When my wife and I reserved a spot we specified we had a 40 foot toyhauler. Web sight said pull through spots are 60 feet. When we got there the spot we had was not 60 feet let alone 40 feet. There was barely any room for our slides. My trailer took the entire spot and had to get creative on parking our pickup. They told us we could park it in the hotel parking lot. No thanks. The hook ups are a joke. You share your power and sewer with your neighbor. When we left we went to dump our tanks it leaked. Not out of my connections but their plumping and vent. It also backed up into the neighbors hose and leaked out of their plumping as well. I don't recommend using their hookups and waiting till a dump station. It is not a very quiet spot either. I could hear the traffic from Hwy 20 and the noise from the Bar down the street(which has great food but that's another review). The good is its location. Very easy to get anywhere. We toured Yellowstone on our motorcycle. I can not comment on the restrooms as we use our own and shower in our RV. One thing I did notice and thought was peculiar was it seemed like most of the spots were filled with their own trailers. All of them had a WW on the front of them including some in the back in a storage area for their trailers. I do feel like most of the reviews were wrote by the family and friends of the Owner. I will add photos when I have...

We were nervous when we read some of the reviews, but ultimately we just wanted full hookups near Yellowstone entrance.

The people running the park are very helpful. I saw them work hard and nearly around them clock for the 3 nights we were there. They helped us get parked and backed into our spot. I saw them several times around the park working on things and helping customers.

When making reservations, it’s important to be clear on the size of your spots and slides. As long as you do that, you should be fine.

While you will find the park in the heart of Yellowstone West town, you still get the “feel” of camping with beautiful tall trees. We were able to string up both our hammocks.

Yes. Some of the spots will require on street parking with your tow vehicle. But that’s not a huge deal at all. In fact, we actually kinda liked it (the street made it super easy to back into our spot). Plus it was nice not having to drive through an RV park at 5mph when we were coming and going. The street is nice and wide with no issues.

Downtown is flat and perfect for cyclists or weekend warrior runners. I was able to actually get some runs in- and not get crushed with inclines and declines. Additionally. Be sure to check out the shops in town.

Laundry was fine too. One of the dryers was the quickest drying dryers we’ve come across while RVing which is nice when you are paying to dry. Since we had full hookups, we didn’t use the shower house. But I peaked in there and wouldn't have had an issue.

Nice concrete patio included in our spot and plenty of shade so we never had to use our awning.

Location is everything. If you are not wanting to stay IN Yellowstone and want to stay in town with hookups. This is a...
