We booked for 3 nights but had to check out after just 1 as we just didn't feel safe there. The hotel was storing its laundry outside our room on the 5th floor landing creating a fire hazard. All stairs/landings etc should be free from objects at all times, especially flammable objects. The laundry was partially blocking our fire exit (the stairs) and completely covered the fire extinguishers. Fire risk all around.||We did raise this as a concern and ask for a different room. We did get offered another room lower down but not till the 3rd night. We just felt unsafe sleeping there. So decided to move out, even though this meant paying for the second night.||Also the hotel looks nothing like as lovely as the photos, I know its a budget hotel but I can't see how people keep saying its "exceptional" on these reviews. The rooms are tired looking, feel a bit grubby, the double we had was small and the bathroom grouting was black and the shower had no power to the flow. The window felt like it was going to fall out when we opened it and door handle felt loose and unsecure. We just didn't feel like we could relax in the room, as all felt a bit manky.||On a positive note: well located (but so many hotels in the area so not a real reason to choose it) and...

We booked for 3 nights but left are 1 due to the fire risk outside our 5th floor room. The hotel was storing its laundry outside our room: obstructing clear access to the stairwell (only emergency exit we could find) and covering the fire extinguishers. Hallways and stairs should be free from objects and certainly should not be the storage place for flammable laundry. When we raised it the staff seemed unaware that this was a fire hazard but did try to find us a different room but could not accommodate this until the next day. We didn't feel safe sleeping there again so checked out.
Plus the hotel is not like the photos. I know its a budget hotel but I really can't see how there are all these reviews saying its a great place to stay! we found the double room small, grubby feeling, decorating old and tired, the shower had black grouting and a really weak flow. The window nearly fell out when we opened it and the door handle felt loose. We couldn't really relax in the room as it just felt sort of manky.
On a positive note the staff were nice, especially the night guy and its in a central location, but so are lots of hotels so that's not really a reason...
Read moreThis place blew me away! I booked a one night stay here last minute because it was cheap but I did not expect the service and overall quality of the room to be so high! I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel for the fraction of the price.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a platter of fresh juice and watermelon in the reception area. I’ve never experienced this before, even in much fancier hotels I’ve stayed at.
The room itself was excellent. We were upgraded to a bigger room free of charge, the shower was hot, wifi was super fast, the street was quiet and the breakfast was the most impressive for me. Breakfast had an unlimited buffet of tons of fresh fruit like mango, dragonfruit, and passionfruit and snacks like buns and finger sandwiches. Coffee and tea were hot and plentiful. On top of this, they had a full hot menu you could order from for free (one per guest). We had pho and it was bomb!!
The women at the front desk were so kind to us too when we were checking out. They asked us to fill out a survey which shows they really care about their guests
I wished we stayed here longer!!! 10/10...
