Hanoi La Selva Central Hotel (room 206 and 208)
+Location. The square, lake and restaurants nearby. +Friendly and helpfull staff with good english. +Air condition, Refrigerator, Hair dryer, good wi-fi. Iron can be borrowed from reception. +Quiet even its located in a busy area. +Breakfast starts at 06:30, but we had to leave at 06:45 to the airport, so they opened 06:20 for us, otherwise we would get a breakfast bag, this was communicated with Jackie (manager) and the reception staff the day before. +Mailed the hotel the day before about transportation from airport to hotel (their telephone numbers are not connected to WhatsApp which is easier for tourists to use as it only requires mobiledata), but then suddently Jackie Le the manager contacted me through WhatsApp and helped us to book the 7 seat minivan. Jackie made sure everything was ok during our trip, if we checked in or need anything else etc.
+/- We had 2 rooms, so we got a whole floor for ourselves but no elevator to the floor as it was at the end of the building, no problems for us. Transportation to/from airport with minivan cost 22 dollars one-way, 50min drive. 2% fee when paying by bank card at the reception. No breakfast buffet, you order from a menu.

Read moreThe location of the hotel is perfect, accessible to walkable touristic places (Hoan Kiem Lake, Beer street, and etc). Grab Bike was also not expensive to go from one place to the other. I stayed in a Superior Double room for 3D/2N, room was clean and it was quiet. The room has amenities like: shampoo, bath gel, toothbrush, bathrobe, mini bar and safe box. Breakfast was nice and with good view as its on the top floor. Tourist Map also available from reception. As a Solo traveler, i felt safe staying in the area. Also very close to restaurants, spa's, market and bars. They have sofa in the lobby where you can stay for long period of time. The Room rate was very affordable even if its in a prime location. I want to emphasize on their staff, namely: Arthur, Percy, Daniel and Jackie. They were all very accommodating and Friendly.. Always there to give you a helping hand even Mango Shake.. :) I discovered a lot from them, places to visit and things to try. I also discovered that some of them are students and others have another job.. I salute this boys who works very hard. They are Hanoi La Selva Central Hotel's...
Read moreWhen we checked in, we got a small map for Ha noi and the clerk gave us some recommendations which areas to check out. This small gesture already made me feel welcome in the city. Our room was tidy and clean, there is housekeeping every day and you will also get a small bottle of drinking water as a service. If that is not enough - there is a minibar in the room where you can buy water too! Location wise - it could not be placed any better, you're in the middle of the old quater and the (weekend) nightmarket is literally just around the corner. There is also a small convenience store close by (for the water and whatever else one might need). Breakfast starts from 6:30, which is great if you have booked a tour. Even if you can't make it to the breakfast hours - the staff will help you to arrange a take away breakfast. We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee in the car on the way to the airport. The service is great - the staff is super friendly and helpful, they will also arrange all sorts of things for you (trips, transportation,...) All in all it was a great stay and I definitely ...
