Today I got choose my spot for Mother’s Day lunch. Usually I would go to Hoang’s, but heard that Ngư had opened in the Old Quarter. I couldnt believe it would hold a candle to Hoang’s but I couldnt have been more wrong! The restaurant is absolutely beautifully and tastefully decorated. The ambience and music perfect. The place was packed with people, so I steadied myself for slow service, but I was wrong again. Our Hà Nội spring rolls and mango salad were on the table before I could wash my hands. We enjoyed also the beef and morning glory as well as the fermented duck rolls. I got so excited for the food I forgot to take extra photos. Our server Po was so sweet and attentive. Her smile never left her face, even though she was juggling sooooo many tables while we were there. I asked to go up stairs to see the other seating areas. Overall, the meal felt balanced — filling and satisfying but still light enough that you didn’t walk away feeling stuffed or sluggish. It’s the kind of lunch that leaves you comfortable and content. Definitely worth...

All the food we ordered were delicious (not able to take pic of the chicken and fish). The servers were really good in speaking english and were really kind. They know their dishes well and were able to give us recommendations and must-try food. Will definitely dine again if I go back to Hanoi. The ambiance was good and there were big electric fans in every corner so it...
