Holiday Lakeview Hotel — Hotel in Hà Nội

The pictures shown in Agoda looks nothing like the hotel. When we arrived the owner said all room is full but we booked online on Agoda and it said avaliable, and then the owner was very loud and we had to argue about it. The owner said he has another room available which is outside of the hotel and it's one of the worst room I have ever slept in. Stains everywhere, spiders, cobwebs and hair on the bed. They don't seem the clean the place. We couldn't sleep at night there was insects everywhere and bed stains. The blanket provided was atleast clean. They had 3 blankets but 1 was used for the single bed and for the queen bed we had to use 1 also because the other blanket was in bad condition. The material of the blanket wore out and it's old and has stains. Now the toilet. When showering we had to bend because the toilet we was provided with was so small. The good thing is the location. It's near to pretty much everything and so convenient. Now I don't recommend staying there we basically got scammed choose other hotels near by it....

Holiday Lakeview hotel

In my wife's birthday, I booked this hotel because of it near the Hoan Kiem Lake. On Agoda, they write it about 300m far from the Lake but in fact, it's a lot nearer, about 50m. The only thing a bit annoys our family is that we have to go the stairs. We have room on the 5th floor so my wife complained about it. The room is very clean and comfortable ( I chose Superior Triple Room) with two beds. The Lakeview is good. And we completely like it. Staffs are so helpful and enthusiastic, they said some people like the 5th and 6th floor because of the view, atmosphere. If you like the 1st, 2nd floor you can contact them when you book. Only stay here if you have no other options. Dilapidated and without any charm. 50% of everything in the room was non working. Towels with holes so big you could put an arm through them. Duvet cover so dirty I couldn’t bring myself to sleep under it so i wore my jacket to bed and was relieved I woke up without bed bug bites. No elevator (which is probably for the better given that the chance of getting trapped in it would be greater than getting to your floor). No breakfast (also probably a blessing). I could go on but I won’t. You’ve been warned.
