Let me take you on an exhilarating journey of my stay at Lake View Hotel & Travel in Hanoi, Vietnam! 🌟 I chose this hotel for its incredible knowledge of Vietnam and their ability to arrange and manage my travel according to my wishes. I specifically requested a comfortable, luxurious rest with a soft bed and plenty of pillows, and they delivered! I stayed on the 7th floor in room 706, and it was an absolute dream. The room was super comfortable, and the air conditioning worked like a charm.
One thing that truly impressed me was their use of WhatsApp for communication. I had immediate responses, and it felt like someone was always there to assist – setting a new industry standard! I have to give a shoutout to the lovely Ms. Daily and the entire hotel staff; they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction.
My 9-day adventure in Vietnam was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I landed at Hanoi International Airport, they were in contact with me through the application, making me feel safe and at home. They even provided a comfortable, air-conditioned taxi from the airport and helped with my 30kg luggage – their hospitality knew no bounds!
The room on the 7th floor was pure comfort, with just a little noise from the kitchen on the 9th floor in the morning – easily manageable. My stay included a delightful breakfast with various options, and let me tell you, Vietnamese coffee is to die for! Smooth, mild in acidity, and with a full-bodied taste that's simply irresistible.
My dining experiences were equally delightful, with a la carte requests followed to the letter. The restaurant manager was pleasant and accommodating. It's funny; it seemed like no one else in the restaurant talked to her about the excellent service she provided – maybe because it's just expected! But she truly deserves recognition. Now, let me share the super comfortable itinerary they planned for me, perfect for those who love comfort and pampering:
28/1: City tour in Hanoi, costing 45 USD per person, with a pickup at 8:00 AM. 29/1-30/1: A 2-day 1-night visit to Halong Bay, with pickup at 8:40 AM. 31/1: A visit to Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu, Trang An, Mua Cave) with pickup at 7:25 AM. 1/2: Flight to Ho Chi Minh City at 12:15 PM, with airport transfer. 2/2: Mekong Delta tour for 2 days and 1 night. 4/2-6/2: Stay in Ho Chi Minh City, including a city tour on 4/2.
All the flights and arrangements were perfectly handled by Ms. Daily. The flights were affordable and saved me three days of train travel covering over 1700km – a wise choice indeed! Every tour was fascinating, and the guides were incredibly informative. The transport was top-notch, like traveling in limousine-style coaches. In short, I highly recommend Lake View Hotel & Travel, its facilities, its convenient elevator for heavy luggage, and of course, its exceptionally professional staff.
Absolutely, I can't emphasize enough how incredibly lovely the Vietnamese people are. Whether it's an encounter with the local Police or a chat with street vendors, every interaction has left a deep and meaningful impression on my heart.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Ms. Daily, the entire team at Lake View Hotel & Travel, and most importantly, to Vietnam and its people for making my trip an unforgettable and heartwarming experience. 🇻🇳💕 #LakeViewHotel #VietnamHospitality...
Read moreMy money was stolen in this hotel and it was someone from the staff. The hotel has some things to mention (old, lack of maintenance and different room from the one I booked) but the worst thing that can happen to you is being ROBBED, it is not reliable!!! How was it?: I arrived late at night and the air conditioning of my room wanst working well. The doorman and receptionist went several times to check it. After 1/2 hour , tired and with no solution, I asked for a fan . They told me to wait at the reception and i stayed there for.about 10.minutes while they were supposed to be looking for a fan. It's true that I should have been more suspicious and havent left my things in the room: but it was midnight and I was tired and at that moment I didn't think about my money (it was in my purse which was inside my funny bug in the room- so, it means they opened my personal.things too)- when they were supposed to solve the air conditioner problem. The next morning, as soon as realized 260 dollars were missing, I inmediatly reported to the hostess of the hotel. After that, it took them 26 HOURS (26 hours just to.check 40.mintues in.the camera wether someone went into my room without me) to tell me that they would not return the money to me because they didn't see anything on the cameras (another LIE, because they DID go to my room without me) and of course I was not able to.see what it was recorded in the cameras as they didnt show it to me, just 5 seconds of me being in the lobby alone, waiting for them (for a "fan"). After the, the manager showed up, in a very bad mood, and told me that if I didn't take care of my things, it wasn't her or the hotel's problem. She never mentioned anything else about the cameras and she wasnt worried about not having honest staff working there, as she acted as nothing had happened and as if it was my fault. And then she added that if I was going to go to the police, nothing would happen because they knew her. Exactly as she said: going to the police was useless: I went to the police station and they almost laughed at me, and the most unbelievable thing was that my "translator" was an employee fo the hotel. After making fun of me with this whole situation, the police didn't even want to do any report: not even a piece of paper saying I was there, nothing. So, some hotel.staff stole my money , I wasted my time and I had an extremely unpleasant time because of everything had happened. DO NOT STAY HERE, IT IS NOT RELIABLE and IT CAN RUIN YOUR STAY After all this, I also reported it to Booking, and they said they would see what they could do, but it has been 10 days since my report and no one has done anything. In all my years of traveling as a passenger and as a tour guide traveling with passengers, I have never seen anything like this: that this happens in a hotel and that it cannot be reported, not even...
Read moreI booked a basic room (506) which turned out to be a very clean, generously sized room with everything that I needed - airconditioning, a fridge, tv with a few english speaking channels. The bathroom was also quite large and there was plenty of space in the shower with a large shower head, plenty of room and lots of hot water. There was a window (which wierdly faced into the hallway). It was very quiet. The free wifi was excellent - no issues with it in my room and was strong enough for me to stream through my tablet. The location of the hotel is excellent - right in the middle of the Old Quarter and less than a 5 minute walk to the lake and within walking distance of lots of attractions and the key shopping areas. Loads of restaurants too. The staff were all really friendly and helpful - they genuinely want your stay to be great. I was catching up with friends so didn't book any tours but the hotel can arrange that for you and lots of people seemed to be taking up the option. The breakfast had a great mix of asian and western options with plenty of fresh fruit. You could also order vietnamese noodle soup, omelettes, eggs that way that you want them and pancakes to order. The breakfast room was on the 9th floor with nice views, but if you have mobility issues be aware that the lift goes to level 7 and the last 2 flights require you to walk...
