Booked this hotel just as a base as we had 4hrs to wait for our overnight train. I booked a double room (which included breakfast ) just to store our bags and have access to a toilet for the 4hrs. Our plan was to shop and get an early dinner before the train so weren’t planning on spending much time in the room. I was happy to pay the $65aud for this however upon arriving as we were a family of 5 they charged us another $30 for the extra people. I tried to explain that we weren’t sleeping there but they insisted we pay and were very rude about it. The hotel also has lots of stairs with no offer of assistance to help lift our suitcases. While there is a small lift it doesn’t access all rooms. No safe in the room so wasn’t comfortable leaving important items in the room while we weren’t there. Terrible service from the staff. Also noted other guests complaining while we were there for similar issues. If you just bed a base while you wait for a train there are coffee shops around that you can sit and wait, don’t waste your money...
Read moreWe arrived at this hotel at 5:30am and were waiting for our private transport to Ha Long Bay. We planned to have our breakfast and to use the washroom before departing for Ha Long Bay. However, the staff told us to wait until 7:00am when the restaurant opened. And asked us to sit at the tables near the main street where the air quality wasn’t good. When it reached 7:00am, we entered the restaurant and the lady officer said they were running out of butter and pho. She was quite inpatient and appeared to be rude. We then accepted the option they could offered. Later on, there were a group of French tourists entered the restaurant. She attended them promptly and served them breakfast with a full fledged of options. I didn’t know what was going on. But with this attitude of doing business, she was either showing me that this hotel is not welcoming Asian tourists like me or tourists that only looking for solely having breakfast in...
Read moreMango Hotel - Le Duan is a three-star hotel conveniently located right next to Hanoi Railway Station, making it an ideal spot for travelers looking for a place to rest or freshen up while waiting for their train. The room rates are affordable and reasonable for its central location and service. Rooms are fully equipped with amenities, including clean beds and bathrooms with bathtubs for a relaxing soak. Surrounding the hotel are plenty of dining options—restaurants, cafes, and even late-night food spots—making it easy to find something to eat at any time. However, because of its location and popularity, the hotel can be quite busy, and the walls are not very soundproof, so it may get noisy at times. Despite that, the staff are friendly, helpful, and do their best to assist guests. Overall, it's a great value option for those who want a convenient and budget-friendly stay in the heart...
