Very nice, new and clean hotel. Super friendly staff.
But unfortunately, the horrible breakfast ruined the whole experience of staying at the hotel. Breakfast consisted of bread, eggs (which had to be boiled yourself), sweet yogurt, instant sweet coffee and sweet jams/nutella for bread. Everything. And all in tiny quantities. We stayed at the hotel for four and there was absolutely not enough food for us. And that's not counting the fact that there were many other guests in the hotel who also came and went hungry. The staff did not keep track of the availability of food, we had to run to the front desk every time and ask for more food. After that, a few slices of bread and a few bags of coffee showed up. Thank you very much, but for 4 people it was kind of a mockery.
The hotel has a kitchen! But there are no hot breakfasts. Judging by the smell of FoBo in the morning in the hotel lobby, the kitchen is only used by housekeeping staff who can afford a hot breakfast. And guests have to go find a decent and hearty breakfast on their own.
I am very disappointed and expected much more from a new "4" star hotel in the center of Vietnam's capital city. In our entire trip, this is the first hotel where the breakfast was so bad. And this for 60€...
Read moreThis is the case of a beautiful building being poorly managed. The building itself is very beautiful modern, and nicely designed but that is about it.
The beds are uncomfortable. Breakfast is a joke and half of the time is missing the few times they offer. There was usually one piece of toast for each guest. Very bare minimum. No real coffee. Just instant powdered stuff. We had to argue for an extra pillow. One per person again. No extra keys allowed, so if you are travelling with two people- you have to stick together. Not the best location. You can get the same or better closer to the action. No amenities onsite. No in-room safe.
The customer service is a joke. They are not that friendly and when you ask for something- it’s an excuse about how management won’t allow them. I’m sure that’s the case. I wouldn’t want to work in this place either.
This was the worst hotel experience of all of the 6 hotels we stayed in. Would not...
