Mercury Suites Central Hotel Hanoi — Hotel in Hà Nội

The hotel is located in the old quarter of Hanoi, very close to Hoan Kiem lake and the old church. It is very convenient to walk around and discover the old quarter. I was there for 2 nights. They told me they upgraded my room I booked to another room on the 8th floor with windows. The elevator just reached the 6th floor and other 2 floors I had to take the stairs which was quite inconvenient if you have huge baggage or a lot of stuff to carry. The room looked old but clean. It was quite hard to open and close the door. There were 4 windows in the room with a view to the street and most of the view was the back and the side of the neighborhood houses. The room was quite big and the bed was comfortable. There was a closet in the bathroom which was full of blankets and bed sheets. The door to the closet was hard to open so I just slid it to a side a little to see what was inside. There was no closet in the room and no safe box as well. The lamps on 2 sides of the bed were broken as I tried to turn them on. The decorations of the room were cute with teddy bears near the biggest window of the room. As I looked at the ceiling, I realized the room was so old. There were 2 ACs and 2 controls on the wall. The disaster was the AC. It was like the AC was turning on and off continuously. Once it was on, it made a super loud noise at night so that I couldn't sleep. I told the receptionist the morning after the first night that the AC made a loud noise and asked her to send someone to check. Nothing was fixed so I couldn't sleep for 2 nights and I was kind of angry as I had some businesses to do in the morning. The porter was friendly and helpful. The booking I made didn't say if the breakfast was included or not. When I asked the receptionist, he told me there was no breakfast so I had some street food for breakfast instead. Lovely hotel in the heart of old quarter town . Easy to find and super friendly staff . In respect with staff I must say that they are super friendly and very welcoming and warm , from the reception staff to the bellboy and kitchen staff were all awesome and amazing . The rooms are very Nicely decorated and comfortable however extremely dirty and I guess the housekeeper all she cares is to exchange the towels and take out the old garbage and that’s all for instance we saw at least 3 mm of dust under the beds and so much fallen garbage under every beds . Lots of Ants 🐜 all over of our rooms including in the beds which we told the receptionist about the room floor being dirty but the next day we didn’t see any changes . Also the door to the balcony was broken and wasn’t moving so there was a sticker telling you that you should close and lock the doors of balcony which in our room the door wasn’t even moving and unable to close it and also the interior lock to the main door 🚪 also was broken so if you want to lock the room from inside you couldn’t do it ( however we didn’t see any reason why we should be worried either ) . Overall speaking was a great experience at this hotel and we will go back again if we ever go back to Vietnam but I hope the owner read this regarding...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mercury Suite , and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The check-in process was seamless, and I was greeted with warmth and professionalism.

The room was beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the view from my window was breathtaking. Housekeeping did a fantastic job maintaining cleanliness throughout my stay.

And I especially want to mention Chloe , who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. Her warm and professional attitude made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff was always attentive, ensuring that every request was met with a smile.
