The two staff openly use and encourage extremely illegal, Unprofessional and Unsafe practices– Strongly Advise Against Staying

My recent stay at this hotel was an absolute ordeal, characterized by severe breaches of conduct and safety primarily due to the reprehensible behavior of the two reception staff. These individuals are central to a hotspot of illicit drug use and excessive alcohol consumption, openly engaging in these unlawful activities and creating a perilous environment for all guests.

The advertised 24-hour reception is a blatant misrepresentation. The hotel premises are secured with a chain at 6 pm every evening, effectively confining guests within the building. Additionally, the owners' practice of sleeping on pillows in the reception area throughout the day further contributed to an unprofessional and disconcerting atmosphere.

The laundry service was exorbitantly priced at 500,000 VND per kilogram and conducted in a machine that was visibly unclean. As a result, my clothes were returned in a worse condition than before, underscoring the negligence and lack of care by the reception staff.

More concerning, however, was the behavior of the two reception staff. Their actions went beyond incompetence to criminal behavior, including theft of personal belongings from guests' rooms and tampering with luggage. The persistent loud noises and disturbances throughout the night, likely stemming from their illicit activities, made it impossible to rest. It appeared as though they intentionally created chaos to discomfort the guests.

This hotel experience was profoundly distressing and dangerous, primarily due to the misconduct of the reception staff. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment for the sake of your safety...

This is one of those "you get what you paid for hotels," so my star rating will reflect that. First off, staff is mostly friendly (I mostly interacted with the slightly older lady and the owner). They help with motorbike parking and are always there when needed.

The room itself was so-so. It literally looked like someone was in the process to revive it but gave up halfway. I originally booked for the double room, but they put me in the inferior twin room, even tho I had specifically booked the double room. I asked about it but they overlooked it and said "it's already booked" knowing they can offer it to someone else. I stayed for 8 nights so I thought I'd be a preferred customer. It didn't make a difference. Moreover, the room didn't have toilet paper nor drinking water, so I had to go out to buy my own. I was so dehydrated on my first night. On the 2nd night the lock of the doorknob didn't work when I tried to renter so I had to stay the night in another room until a locksmith came to fix it the next morning. Unfortunately my charger and water that I bought was in the other room so I had to spend half of the next day waiting for my phone to charge and again become dehydrated.

Positive things: I was able to have a nice warm shower and the location was pretty good. Close to Hoan Kiem lake and restaurants.

Would I have paid more to stay in a better place, definitely yes. However, if you plan to stay for a night or two while in between cities, then this place would be suitable. Two stars for the livable room, friendly staff, and price less the inconveniences I...

Situated in a prime location, this establishment offers proximity to the Old Quarter and convenient access to numerous attractions within walking distance. However, the guest experience can vary. During my stay, I occupied a room with a single, small window tucked away in the corner, unfortunately too small to provide proper ventilation. This occasionally led to a somewhat muggy and damp ambiance, even when utilizing the air conditioning system. Nevertheless, the A/C functioned effectively and a fan was also provided.

The bathroom facilities, while functional, lean towards a more minimalist design. They boast good lighting but lack both a window and exhaust fan. The bed offered a satisfactory level of comfort, ensuring a decent night's sleep. The customer service exhibited politeness and kindness throughout my stay.

One notable highlight was the absence of external noise intrusion in my room, resulting in a serene and quiet environment. Access to my room was via a narrow, winding stairwell, which may require some caution. The presence of 24-hour security during the night provided peace of mind.

Additional amenities included a fridge in my room, a desk, and a chair. While the cleanliness standards were moderately met, it is worth noting that my overall positive impression was largely influenced by the unbeatable location, satisfactory room conditions, and the value offered for the price paid.
