This store is very disappointing!! I specifically checked their opening hour on Google before going as I know most of the stores close on Sunday. It says it open till 7pm on Google. I came to buy a poster at 4:30pm on Sunday afternoon and it was closed but the staff is still there. As I’m flying out that night, this is my only chance to get it so I waited for the staff to come out and asked her if I could just buy that poster, I have the exact cash ready and it won’t mess up their till. She showed no empathy and just pointed at the small sign that says they close at 4pm and told me to come back tomorrow. I explained to her that Google has the opening hour wrong and I’m flying out the night, there is no way I can come back tomorrow. She seemed not care about that at all. While I was waiting for her, there were quite a lot of tourists trying to walk in. If you can’t afford to open an extra 2-3 hours, at least change the opening hour on Google or simply...
Read moreWould not reccomend at all! Pricey at 24.50 for a T shirt when T shirts right by st Stephens square are more like 19.90. T shirts are a thin material as well - not thicker more expensive material. They are not right in the square. They are 5 min by walking outside of st Stephens square - which made me even more indignant that I went out of my to find the store and then they did not have good customer service.
store clerk was rude and said she didn’t know about VAT tax refund when it is listed as a souvenir shop!? Makes no sense at all. Was not happy about her rudeness and unwilling to give me forms for VAT tax refund or pretending she didn’t know what I was talking about! I felt like she was trying to rush me out even if she did know what I was talking about.
Lastly, the T shirt tag said 22.90 for 1 shirt and 24.90 for the other one. Yet, they charged us 24.90 for both shirts. See photos. Rip off company...
Read moreWhen I first arrived in Vienna I had a bit of a rough start — I was tired, slightly lost, and struggling to find my way around. By chance, I came across this souvenir shop and that’s where I met Riad. Honestly, he turned my day around. Not only did he help me choose some beautiful souvenirs, but he also took the time to give me useful tips about the city and made me feel genuinely welcome. His kindness and patience left such a positive impression on me. I walked in just looking for souvenirs, but I walked out with a smile. If you’re ever in Vienna, this shop is highly recommended and if you’re lucky, you’ll...
