Lock Bridge — Local services in Niagara Falls

Completely over-exaggerated reviews. Firstly, this is nothing more than a small footbridge located behind one of the Marriott hotels and Embassy Suites. It is nothing worth traveling to unless you're staying in one of those hotels. Secondly the views are not "spectacular" as someone wrote...The views are almost nothing. It leads you to a rear walking path behind the hotels and Galleria Mall and to a short tram that takes you down a steep hill to the falls. You can "see" the falls through the woods, but no way is it a "spectacular" spot to view the falls. Most people just walk down Murray St. Not sure what some people think when they write reviews (notice how there are no pictures of the view - just pictures of the bridge). Aside from that, it's a small footbridge lined with locks that have initials or names and dates written with a sharpie, some are engraved. Don't waste time hunting this down unless you're very nearby or are fixated on adding...

I loved this place! Locks hold a significance for me and my wife so seeing this place totally make our hearts happy. The challenge...finding a LOCK! Well, here is a hot tip for anyone wanting to "lock in" on their love - - - the gift shop of the Marriot Hotel right there, has locks that you can buy AND a sharpie to adorn your initials or message. So mad props for the gift shop for understanding the assignment!! We locked in, added our lock to others and were super stoked to be able to do so....

We can find lock bridges at many other cities. This very short walking bridge at Niagara Fall is for people to walk across the Portage Road to get to the hotels on the other side. No special view or scenery for walking along the bridge. Hope those couples who had put their locks there can really lock their love...
