Redpath Sugar Toronto — Local services in Toronto

On July 22nd, My 12 year old son, his best friend and I were walking along the Harbourfront when we saw the sign for the Redpath Sugar Museum. On a lark, as we had time to kill, we entered and asked if we could visit the museum, as we did not have an appointment. The receptionist\dispatcher was accommodating and called the curator to see if it was OK, which it was.

The gentleman came and got us, and took us on a short walk to the museum. On entering, I signed the register and he briefly explained the layout and how to proceed. It was a self guided tour, but he was there if we had questions. The boys had a good time looking at the exhibits, and the curator took the time to patiently answer their questions.

This is not a top class museum like the ROM, but it has a lot of history and I would recommend it for the educational value. You can see it all in...

Redpath is a sugar plant that sometime in the near future I hope to call my employer! As living across from the plant on QueensQuay , for years as I go to my factory job up at east York… I dream of working for Redpath .( serious!)
