For a fast food restaurant almost exclusively serving french fries, the serving time is unacceptable. I waited almost half an hour for two servings of classic poutine and some churros. Poutine is just fries with gravy and cheese curds!!! You already have the gravy and cheese prepared, why is it taking so long?
Here is some constructive criticism:
Your kitchen system is flawed. Watching the staff roaming around seems unorganized and inefficient. No surprise you can't handle to prepare more than two or three orders at the same time. Get a better system, other fast food restaurants can handle this way better.
That monitor with the "funny" quotes? Use it to display the orders that are ready. Nobody cares about the quotes, I've got that confirmed by customers and staff alike. Plus, you'll be saving your staff from the embarrassment of constantly pronouncing the ordner names (e.g. Baltasar, Hades) wrong. Why are you mixing german and english order names anyway? And why not use numbers instead, like literally every single fast food restaurant in the world? If it's not broken, why fix it? Originality for the cost of a convenient customer experience isn't worth it.
Poutine is covered in gravy. My two orders of poutine had so little gravy on it, though, half the cheese was cold and didn't melt. At least I got more gravy when asking for it. I shouldn't have to ask, though. I thought the founders are Canadian.
That's one star less for the food by the way, the other star is for adding parsley to it despite me not having ordered it with parsley. Parsley doesn't go on Quebec poutine, anyway, it's weird and messes up the flavour.
Work on that and the service and you'll have my five...

Read moreMy partner and I are visiting Berlin for the second summer in a row from the New York area and we decided to stop by Frittenwerk again since our experience last year was so lovely. We happened to visit a different location this time than we did last year, and to our surprise, we ran into the supervisor, Ed, who we met last year at another location!
Ed is such a lovely, kind, warm and welcoming person. We truly loved seeing him! He made us feel (again) as if we had a friend in Berlin and he went out of his way to make sure we felt special and cared for during our visit to Frittenwerk. He made us a special (not on the menu) order of churros which were absolutely delicious! He was also incredibly focused and efficient — you could tell he loves his job and is great at it too!
THANK YOU ED, FOR JUST BEING YOU!!! We will always make Frittenwerk a necessary stop during our annual trip to Berlin, just to stop and...
