Really disappointing visit. This is the second time visiting Bailey’s and first time round was great. However, second time round was complete opposite experience. We was sat down to our table, ordered our drinks.. fine. Ordered food was fine. Asked if the olives could be brought out asap and the rest to follow when ready. Some time had passed and we got the olives, 45 minutes later after the olives came still no food. When asking where our food was our waitress said would be about 5 minutes and quickly walked off and we wanted to order another drink as we waited so long for our food we’d already finished our drinks but she never came back. Another 10 minutes passed nothing, we said 5 more minutes and then we’ll go. So yeah, 5 minutes passed still no food or waitress in sight. We walked up to the waitress to paid for our drinks and olives and told her we were going to leave. Not bothered what so ever! just said sorry and couldn’t give us a reason to why we waited so long for our food that yet still no sign of but was happy to take our money for our drinks and for us to leave. I’m just so disappointed as we had a great experience the first time and complete opposite this time. I really hope this is noticed and not ignored as really really not impressed with the service and experience...

This place had such an inviting feel until we sat down. The waitress was probably the rudest person I've ever come across. My daughter and I went went in for bite to eat. While my daughter was at the toilet the waitress asked for my drink and good order. I asked could I wait until my daughter returned. She was impressed and walked away. I ordered a ploughman's ciabatta . Honestly it was so bad. A tiny piece of cheese on one half. Some ham and a thin spread of brown sauce. At 13 for a ciabatta. I called the waitress and threaded carefully to ask for cheese. She replied that she could see cheese on it. She took it said nothing .. huddled with other staff and they all stared at us . While my daughter ate dry prawns thst was supposed to be an prawn cocktail sanwich . I waited for 20 mins for my ciabatta to be returned to me. She dropped it on table and never said a word just a disgruntled face. We ate our food in this awkward athmosphere and left never to return. .and we...

As me and my Fiancé were walking down on Grafton St, saw this place and it was quite busy for a Tuesday Lunch and we thought to try it. Ordered the calamari to start and for mains BLT, Fish and Chips. First everything came out same time, there literally 5 pcs of Calamari Rings-So crunchy and crispy and the rest of the plate was this huge salad with no dressing. (Gross) The BLT felt like it was done a week ago, cold, the Bacon was barely cooked, there was no mayo at all. Fish and chips were ok- but was served with same salad as the calamari(didnt even feel like touching it). Long story short, service was horrible, food was a nightmare. The staff recognized that we didnt enjoy the food and acted like everything is ok. Spent 60€ for a 30 minute lunch which i regret. If i ever come back to Dublin again will never come back here again. If there was an option to give 0...

Strolling around Dublin in the early evening, we ended up on Duke Street in front of The Bailey - Bar & Café. It is for certain on of the best bars in the city. Over the years, it has served as a hub of literary and political activity, welcoming a wide range of local and international artists and celebrities such as Evelyn Waugh, and Charles Chaplin, Oliver St. John Gogarty, Samuel Beckett and Patrick Kavanagh to name but a few. We managed to get a table inside and even though the place was jammed packed, the service was actually very quick. For supper, my wife had the Shaved Beef Sandwich on toasted ciabatta with a side salad, and I had the Beef & Guinness Stew. For drinks we always like to try something new, and opted for two draught beers; Moretti and 5 Lamps Dublin Lager. I have to say the food, drinks and server were excellent!

Well where do I begin, I ordered 2 BLTs take the bacon off and add chicken, So after a long 35 minute they brought out 2 slices of white toast tiny by the way and on it was Tesco Salad and 1 slice of tomato not one bit of chicken immediately I notified the waitress. So then after 10 minutes again they come out with our order, I kid you not I took my first bite and spit it out as the chicken was raw. This is extremely dangerous and just pure lazy no sauce on the BLT aswell no apology no nothing. This is just pure ignorance and down right dangerous, Imagine if me and my girlfriend ate the undercooked chicken, What also seemed as the waiters and waitresses looking at us as we waited to say the chicken was raw. Immediately I cancelled them and got the Bill for the drinks.

This place has the charm and warmth of Dublin and offers great cocktails ... This was first our visit to Dublin and this placed lived up to all the expectations we had about experiencing Dublin dining and bar scene and more .... Found this place while strolling in st stephens green and it is beautifully located just around the corner .... Had a wonderful time... Liked this place so much that we went again one last time for the cocktails before leaving Dublin .... Great place to hang out with friends over drinks...just one of the Irish experiences one shouldn't miss out on
