Pizzeria Ai Bari — Restaurant in Venice

"My sister and I visited last week and had a wonderful experience. We decided to visit again our last night in town and it was 0/5. They got her order wrong and were really rude about it and refused to give her the meal she had asked for and continued to be rude for the rest of our time at the restaurant. As former servers, it really made us uncomfortable and we had to pay for food we didn’t order. Very unfortunate to deal with."

Just read this review and copied it because the same thing happeed to us today. I would give this place 0 stars if i could. We are past servers and restaurant owners. We are VERY patient and willing to overlook alot. That being said, i ordered a sandwich. I said the name and pointed out the type. It said "various salumi", cheese, rocket and tomato. I was served 10 mintues after my husband. It had procutto and cheese. 2 pieces of rocket. I spoke to the waiter about the mixup ( i even applogized), and he refused to acknowledge the mistake. Said it was the same thing i ordered. I then showed hime the menu and told him (in itailian) what was missing. He took the sandwich back. 10 min later a very agro and muchchismo cook comes out and asks me what exactly i wanted. Again, showed him the menu. 15 min later i got the sandwich as described. Dirty looks throughout. Total butt hurt vibe. I thanked them and wished them a buon feste. Nothing back. Eravamo già stati a mangiare una pizza; più che discreta e a prezzi difficili da trovare a Venezia. Stavolta abbiamo provato il filetto al pepe verde con verdure e una tagliatella gorgonzola e straccetti cavallo, vino rosso 2 caffè tot 35€. Bar- Pizzeria-Trattoria ai bari - Venezia Il posto avrebbe bisogno di una pulizia approfondita. Le pizze molto oleose, gommose e con condimenti di cattivo gusto. Grazie a turisti che non vogliono spendere molto può sopravvivere, in altre città avrebbe già chiuso.

I bari, pur non avendo prezzi alti (pizze dai 6 ai 9 €) offre delle pietanze davvero cattive. Location vecchia (non in senso positivo) e poco igienica, cameriere e pizzaiolo rudi e alquanto nervosi, servizio molto lento... Insomma da evitare assolutamente!

Bar- Pizzeria-Trattoria ai bari - Venezia Siamo state accolte con cortesia e gentilezza. Sorridente sia l'addetto alla sala che Marco il pizzaiolo e la responsabile della cucina. Seppur fosse domenica e il lavoro non mancasse, il servizio è stato rapido ed efficiente. La pizza è ben cotta, abbondantemente condita e ben lievitata. Rapporto qualità prezzo perfetto! Bravi! Bar- Pizzeria-Trattoria ai bari - Venezia Piccola trattoria dove si mangia bene e i prezzi sono contenuti. Ho cenato qui domenica sera con la mia famiglia. Due pizze, due primi e due secondi, (carne e pesce), bibite e caffè..circa 15€ a testa più o meno. Ottima pizza autunno!! Cameriere molto disponibile, ci ha servito alla svelta avendogli detto che avevamo treno alle19.30! Consigliato

Qui la pizza è buona, la cucina quasi casalinga, il servizio mediamente rapido, i prezzi sotto la media. Non mi ha mai datto delusioni. Perchè non ho dato una valutazione a 5 pallini? This place offers average food, but their service is really poor and rude. The waiter would not take your order spontaneously even though you called them several times. Some customers were annoyed by their poor attitude of service so they left. After spending a long time in ordering, we finally finished our meal. When we asked for the check, this took a long time as well (they let us stand at the reception without saying or doing anything). We would like to have card payment but they said there was some problem with the card machine so that they asked us to pay in cash. However, a customer just paid by card for a couple of minutes ago. We finally realized that there was nothing wrong with the machine but the waiter was unwilling to put a roll of paper inside the machine. The whole process of payment took another 15 minutes. I would say that if u hv a plenty of time, you can come here to enjoy merely simple...
