I booked a massage for myself through their website and got an email confirmation from them within an hour. The place was relatively easy to find and when you reach, you have to place your shoes on the shoe rack. After that, grab some slippers and make your way up the staircase. Turn left and you'll see the receptionist or masseur at the counter. I noticed that all of the masseurs I saw seemed to be Thai.
I got myself a full body and foot massage for two hours. It was really relaxing and I had a short snooze while having the massage. My masseur was really experienced and she found all of my pain points/parts that ached a lot really quickly and without me telling her. It was also interesting how she massaged my face during the full body massage and let me tell you that the short face massage I had was awesome. She really massaged the right areas that relieved eye soreness as well as tension in the cheek muscles.
As for the foot massage, I found it to be relatively interesting because I expected her to massage my feet. However, the masseur ended up massaging my calves and thighs the whole time. I didn't stop her though, because my legs were very tense from walking too much and she was really ironing out the tension in them.
As a solo traveller, I would recommend coming here earlier and not at night. I went there from 9pm to 11pm and when I left at around 11pm, the streets were super empty and all the stores were closed. While my hotel was only a 10mins walk away, I felt low-key scared because it just didn't feel too safe. As such, when going there,...
Read moreGot a couples massage, walked in and was able to get a same day booking later in the afternoon. Unfortunately we showed up half an hour early and they asked us to come back, but there was no paperwork to fill out so no worry about time wasted. The entrance was a little difficult to find because the building is covered in their signs on all sides, with nonfunctional doors, with a restaurant next to them. However their actual entrance is past the restaurant.
The main reason I went with this place over the others were the great reviews and the fact that they didn't understaff, so your massages were not interrupted by phone calls or walk-ins, which was a major complaint with other massage parlors. While I haven't had many massages, this was by far the best I've had yet.
We got the 90 minute aromatherapy couples massage, which was in the same room. They let us choose our oil, and led us to our room. It was very relaxed and laid back. The two ladies were super nice and laughed along with awkward situations and made everything feel much more comfortable. I think they actually gave us longer than 90 minutes but i wasn't keeping strict time, and I won't complain. At its worst that just means the massage felt longer than it was.
I get the feeling my masseuse noticed my slightly rotated right leg because she worked on that much longer than my other leg. Overall very strong pressure, but they immediately notice if you might be experiencing pain.
Great experience and left me wanting to come back...
Read moreI went for a massage here; as it had high reviews. The reviews are incentivised which explains why they’re high. The masseuse clearly had a cold/flu as she struggled to breathe and wasn’t wearing a mask; I even asked if she was ill. While massaging me I could also hear her pick her nails. She said I was tense throughout the massage; but the place is also noisy as you hear other clients come in the whole time which makes it hard to relax. The room on one side had a cold wind come through too which is possibly why she was sick. Due to lack of health and safety precautions I became sick as well. What was supposed to be a massage to help with aches and pains caused more aches and pains due to basics being ignored. They also incentivise cash payments with a 10% discount which doesn’t show online. The place is rated for being ‘decent’ but there are many of these branches and I hope people are not being forced to work while they’re ill. Those who are willingly working while ill should sanitize and wear masks so they do not pass on bacteria or viruses making...
