An Unforgettable Culinary Experience at Wagyu Katana
From the moment we stepped into Wagyu Katana, we knew we were in for something special. Tucked away in the heart of Japan, this hidden gem delivered an experience that far surpassed our expectations.
Our evening was elevated by the warm and attentive service of Mizuki, whose hospitality was truly world-class. She guided us through the menu with care, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring every detail of our meal was perfect. Her professionalism and passion made the evening feel deeply personal and unforgettable.
The stars of the night were without a doubt the Kobe sirloin and the Wagyu filetāboth cooked to perfection and bursting with rich, buttery flavor. The marbling on the Kobe beef was exceptional, melting in our mouths with each bite. The Wagyu filet was equally impressiveātender, juicy, and seasoned to highlight its natural depth.
The ambiance of Wagyu Katana is both intimate and refined, perfectly complementing the high level of culinary craftsmanship. Every elementāfrom the elegant plating to the seamless serviceāreflects a deep respect for quality and tradition.
If you're a fan of Wagyu or simply want a dining experience that lingers in your memory long after the last bite, Wagyu Katana is a must-visit. Five stars...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here for dinner since we wanted to try Kobe beef teppanyaki style. We first tried the Kobe beef set menu, which included two pieces of Kobe beef sushi, two pieces of Kobe beef sashimi, salad, and soup. The sushi and sashimi were solid, but on the chewy side.
We also got prime Kobe beef filet (110g for 25,800 yen) and prime Kobe beef chateaubriand (110g for 34,800 yen). The beef came with some veggies and side sauces. The chateaubriand was so unique to try. It was incredibly tender and soft. The beef filet was also tender and enjoyable. Very pricey for the few bites of beef, but fun to experience.
My biggest complaint would be how touristy this spot is. When the meat came out, they asked if we wanted to take a picture with it. Thatās already a red flag. After we ate, they gave us a certificate of proof that we experienced Kobe beef. At the end of the meal, they asked if we wanted to tip even though Japan does not have a tipping culture. We did tip as we felt obligated. Overall, the quality of the beef was solid, but this is definitely a...

We had an incredible meal at Wagyu Katana and canāt wait to return. From start to finish, everything was exceptional.
The star of the show wasāof courseāthe steak. Perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth wagyu that was rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a reminder of why this place has such a great reputation. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients and preparation.
The service was equally impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They went out of their way to make usāand especially our childāfeel at home. It's not always easy to find a steakhouse thatās both upscale and kid-friendly, but Wagyu Katana struck that perfect balance.
The ambiance was stylish but relaxed, making it ideal for a special night out or a memorable family meal. We left full and happy.
Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates top-tier steak and...
