My brother and I were walking around Asakusa after visiting some of the temples around the area and stumbled upon this place at random! I pointed out to my brother that they sold wagyu and kobe and since my brother had never had any of those cuts, I suggested we check it out.
The service in this establishment was absolutely PHENOMENAL. If you’re a foreigner in Japan, you’re probably well aware of how some establishments don’t treat you as well as they should due to the language barrier (and no hate to them! I get it. communicating in a foreign language is hard) but these guys treated us like family!
I’ve never experienced service like the one I experienced here and I’ve been to some places where the check was over $2,000! They cheered us on when drinking alcohol, checked up on us to see how the meat was and actually encouraged us to take videos/pictures of everything! My brother and I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time we were there.
The chefs really liked us recording them and kept asking if we wanted to charge our phones or take more pictures of anything! Incredible service that I’ll forever remember about Japan.
As far as the food goes, it’s exactly what you’d expect - it’s Wagyu man you can’t go wrong that FOR REAL. It was juicy, tender and incredibly delicious. One thing to keep in mind is that it is Wagyu/Kobe, which is NOT a cheap piece of meat but it is easily half the price here than what you would pay at the states. I’ve bought Wagyu at multiple locations in San Francisco and Portland and never have I been able to buy it for less than a $100, ESPECIALLY at this quality.
I bought a small 4 OZ piece of Wagyu in SF for about $150. This location sells them anywhere from $50 to $100 depending on the cut you get and it’s much better than anything i’ve had before.
If you’re in Asakusa, I highly recommend checking out this place! If you’re not looking to spend too much you can always get the Wagyu Sashimi, which was like $10 for 2 pieces (or somewhere...

Read moreThis was our last meal before flying out of Japan, and I have to say it was my favorite meal in Tokyo by far. It was truly an amazing experience to end off the trip.
Their Kobe beef advertisement caught our eye while looking for lunch near Nakimise-dori street in Asakusa. Both my sibling and I never tried Kobe beef before. Since it was our final day here, we thought why not try it out? What also finalized our decision was the affordable pricing, which is usually unheard of for Kobe beef. We both ordered a bento lunch set for only ¥5500! It came with fresh salad, two pieces of Kobe beef sashimi, two piece of Kobe beef sushi (tender & tough), miso soup, and a bento box with four slices of Kobe beef, scrambled eggs, assorted vegetables, and a side of wasabi on top a bed of warm rice. Words can't explain how delicious the whole meal was. Compliments to the chef!
Not only was the food amazing, but the staff were superb as well! I want to highlight how kind and inviting they were to have us dine in. The friendly service made us feel so welcome. They even encouraged us to take photos of the food and their Kobe beef plaque.
I highly recommend you checking Kobe Beef Daia out if you're in Asakusa! The next trip to Japan will definitely have them on the itinerary. Thank you kindly for the...
