予約したのに大混雑で1時間以上も待たされました。予約した意味なくて最悪でした。
I had a reservation for 10:30 AM, but the dressing didn’t start until 11:40 AM and was only completed by 12:00 PM. Despite having a reservation system, the shop was overcrowded and unable to handle the demand, making me wait for over an hour and completely ruining my schedule. Having a reservation meant nothing, and I found this absolutely unacceptable.
Since I could no longer make it to my next appointment on time, I requested to cancel the hair set, but they refused to accommodate my request and instead rushed through a simple styling. The kimono dressing also felt hurried, and the obi was poorly tied. The shop itself was small, with a limited selection of kimonos.
I suspect that many tourists, unfamiliar with the usual kimono dressing process, may be leaving high ratings without realizing how poorly managed this place is. Other kimono rental shops nearby seemed much less crowded, and I deeply regret choosing this one. I will never use this...
Read moreI was desperately looking for a Kimono Rental for my daughter for the "Coming-of-age" ceremony. Many places were charging extra to take an advantage of such event....when I called Waraku, the owner of the business actually took my call and told me that they could accommodate her!! And price was so reasonable....and the selection of their Kimono (Furisode) were superb.....so perfect. I can't thank enough how happy my daughter and I were. She looked amazing!!! I highly recommend this retail. You will be well...
Read moreLovely kimono rental place, they have quite nice kimonos to rent, for guys and gals, though obviously their selection for the ladies are much more than for us gents.
Same day rental is til 5.30pm, but I'll recommend paying a bit more for next day return so you don't have to rush back. They'll do up your hair for the ladies, though it's a simple do, as well as provide appropriate accessories.
Overall, it was fun. They speak some basic English, but you'll survive...
