i very disappointed with EWT staff , i know the store have a lots of quality product & very good promotions & best deal warranty. However , I'M VERY very disappointed.
I bought a laptop for our company from EWT on 29 FEB 2024 , with their sales assistant (Flex) . He assist me throughout the whole procedure Via Whatapps , as i cannot walk in to the store due to time constraints.
During the selection of the laptop , i requested Vivobook 15 A1502Z-ABQ2141WS ( an Intel Core) .
But I received Vivobook 15 E1504F-ABQ471WS , he clearly didnt mentions of the changes of the laptop from the original laptop i wanted. and didnt take any picture of the laptop details . only send the promo rates only . which i assume its a same laptop which i clearly mentions . ( i dont mind the laptop , but please be more details & specific when dealing with customer ,as customer not familiar with computer things , so your staff should be more attentive, not only chasing sales , this purchase for the next 5-6 years usage)
Also, I requested him to do Data Transfer from my PC to the new laptop , Since Flex is on leave , i only able to send my PC to EWT on 1 March During his afternoon shift .
Again i disappointed , WITH RM 80 CHARGES OF DATA TRANSFER . The data is incomplete . and they even jeopardize the data in the PC ( Company Data) .
They ask me to send the PC & Laptop to the store back , like hello , Data Transfer incomplete & u done damage to my PC , u think i wanna send there & jeopardize my PC again. Much worst . RM 80 WITH NO RECEIPTS . Money not an issue but I WOULD SAY TRUST ISSUE in this case .. also time , Dont waste people time . to keep coming back when you can gaotim at 1 go)
During the checking the laptop , they inform me outlook apps already been installed , However when i return home & double checking. DUDE , ITS Not even an OUTLOOK . ITS MAIL APPS NOT OUTLOOK. Sigh
A young man @ Karamunsing pc store , done great job , in detailing the laptop, install the apps i needed & secure the data as i requested .
EWT Please stop lying to customer , & EDUCATE YOUR STAFF .

Next week , I considered to buy a membership because I can see myself buying alot of pc parts. I bought the membership thinking this shop could be one of the main shops I would visit whenever I need a pc part. HOWEVER, one part that annoyed me to the point that I need to write this is how they handle their customer communications.
What do I mean? I got pretty good customer service so far.
Let me explain then, a while ago my friend wanted to build a new computer because he wanted to game and attend online class. Usually I would ask them in their facebook page via messenger.
I asked for the parts that my friend wants to know the price and they reply with a bot saying they are currently closed because I messaged them at 10pm and they would come back to me the next day however I did not receive a reply at all since November 2020.
I said to myself " huh thats weird okay maybe they forgot or did not see the message " not too bothered by it because human errors happen. So on 8th Feb 2021 my friend wants to buy the graphics card in order to finish the PC I gave EWT a second chance and to no avail ( out of the 2 days back to back even messaged them at 10 30 am in the morning I did not get a reply so that really annoyed me )
Soo dont be lazy and go to EWT themselves and check right ? Guess what I did and what happen is I would go to EWT stand in the pc part section and not ONE person approaches me and ask what do I want in the store as a Customer.
At that point, im like OK if im going to feel like im being ignored for most of the time fine ill just take my business elsewhere.
Short story is , Im a customer that wants to buy something i ask multiple time from facebook which is what they say i should do if i wanted to know if something is in stock and I get Ignored for months.

I have 2 printers that needed to be repaired. I called few centres, and decided to go to EWT to give it a try. I usually go to Putatan.
The staff (Calvin) said come check. Technician maybe a bit late. Im okay with it and ask if they can help me carry it since I have 2 printers needed to check. He said okay and give me his number. Told me to whatsapp if arrive.
11.54pm: told him i arrive and even send pictures the location of parking
12.04pm: replied will arrive shortly.
Waited until 12:28pm and inform them no need to come. The audacity to say โminor delayโ because of too many customer. If really a lot of customer, then just inform me, its okay to naik turun bawa printer 2 kali. At least tell me right. Is there a possibility if I waited 1 hour, he would just say the same thing โminor delay, sudden number...
