update if they cancel your booking using the reason Invalid card details/incorrect CVC number they do not need to pay commission please raise this with booking.com if the booking is pay at property the card details should be no reason to cancel it’s a tactic they use not to pay. Take it up with book.com and make sure you get commission if booked via them or go back to who you booked through.

After putting up this review I have read that I am not the first person this has been done to and several people have reported the booking just being cancelled on them last minute with them being stranded…please ensure you do check before booking I have included screenshots of some of the reviews I have come across

I was travelling with three children, and just hours before arrival, the manager (Mohammed) messaged to say my room was “unavailable due to an electrical fault.”

No alternative was offered. No apology. No support. He showed zero concern that I was arriving with kids and had nowhere to go.

Even worse — I checked Booking.com and rooms at the same property were still showing as available. When I said I’d come to check the building myself, he changed his story: “Only your room has a problem.” Extremely suspicious.

I now believe they gave my room to someone else at a higher price, because my booking was pay at property. Then they rejected my card multiple times, claiming the CVC was missing (I have screenshots showing my details were correct). This is a known trick used to avoid paying commission to Booking.com and to block guests from leaving reviews.

We were left stranded in a foreign country with three children, late at night, exhausted, and scared. This caused huge distress, anxiety, and financial stress.

The entire experience was disgraceful. Deceptive. Heartless. Dangerous.

This apartment was an absolute disaster from the start. Communication was terrible — we never had direct contact with the real owner, only with unreliable middlemen who did not take responsibility.

On day 3 we were literally thrown out of the apartment because of problems between the hosts themselves. Instead of resolving their issues professionally, they made it our problem and left us completely stranded with no support, no solution, and no compensation.

The beds were awful, cheap and extremely uncomfortable. We were promised either compensation or a replacement bed, but of course nothing ever happened. Once we were forced out, all promises stopped immediately.

The way this was handled was outrageous: no professionalism, no respect for paying guests, and zero accountability. We felt abandoned and cheated.

This was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with Booking.com. This property should never be available on the platform. I strongly warn others to stay away from this place — it is unsafe, dishonest, and...

Maybe It's nice to be live here as a resident here but A for airbnb or short term rent is a NIGHTMARE FOR WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS .. DON'T !!

It's not a hotel or an Airbnb. No reception, you have to wait for someone who will give you the access card. Expect to wait super long after a long flight ..not pleasant .

The management is very strict about that. They will block guests' cards Building still under construction and renovation a lot for drilling and knocking in the morning We could not sleep because of the dust and the noise The facilities are not enough for residence and guests , CROWDED .. people rent one bedroom and stay 2 or 3 families ..imagine the mess The residents are really not welcoming and chasing Airbnb guests
