Albatros Los Cabos Sailaway — Local services in City Centre

We sailed with Captain Eric and crew today. They went above and beyond on our snorkeling excursion after seeing a whale with her brand new calf off in the distance. We went in that direction to try and catch a closer look. Upon reaching them we got close enough for him to determine the calf was only hours old! We were able to watch as the new mama Humpback whale began to teach her calf how to breathe, jump and roll in the water. This was the most amazing sight and all of us on board agreed that taking some time away from snorkeling to witness this miracle of nature well worth the trade off. We still went to our snorkeling destination and saw many beautiful fish. The entire trip start to finish was perfection. We had a lovely lunch made fresh for us and as many drinks as we wanted. The entire crew was attentive and very knowledgeable. 10 STARS!! When we finished and went back to the office to look at the photos they took and decide if we wanted to buy any (which we did) the man there tried to overcharge us! He tried to say it was the machine's fault because I paid by credit card. The $70USD somehow became $81.04USD I pointed it out and he tried to say that no I was not paying that amount but I showed him the transaction on my end and proved it. He told me there was 5 dollars tax....OK then 75 bucks still not 81. He ended up giving me a $5 bill out of his pocket so I would go away. I noticed the same thing happen to the woman who paid right after me. She told him about it and he gave her the whole tax shpeal and she just gave up and paid it. Along with the $5USD per person they charge for a "dock fee" when we arrived....that we were never told about at booking. These office types are ripping people off!! I was warned that these excursions in cabo are notorious for that.

I went on a catamaran snorkel tour and it was genuinely one of the worst expirences. The water was FREEZING!!! So cold you couldn’t breathe. It was choppy and felt unsafe. The visibility and marine life sucked! We were in the water for maybe 10 min during the whole 4 hour tour. The boat ride back was so incredibly rough and choppy that the entire boat was so sick! And to top things off, one of the workers pestered us and basically held us hostage demanding a tip!!! It was so unprofessional and uncomfortable. Would NOT recommend this company what so ever. Not to mention, I reached out to customer service MULTIPLE times...

My only complaint was getting the pictures we paid for, otherwise it would have been a 5 star. The pics were to be emailed to account within 5 minutes of purchase after the excursion. Our tour bus was leaving and they assured us we would get the pictures before arriving back at the hotel. It took 2 days and in the end we had to UBER back to get the pictures in person on USB stick.
