Spa Xel Ha — Local services in City Centre

Two weeks before my trip to Cab San Lucas, I broke my tailbone (an injury that mostly has to heal on its own and can take months to recover from). I proceeded to Cabo (who wouldn't), but not without pain and discomfort. I heard that Spa Xel-Ha (Consuelo) could help. The tiny plaza faces what I call the ghost hotel (un-finished abandoned hotel in a PRIME area, just off the marina. The Spa is pushed into a back corner of the tiny plaza past a GREAT outside bar called La Surfrida (used to be called Cabo Blue?). I walk in, use a translator on my phone because I needed them to understand that they needed to be careful with me because of the injury. They not only worked on this kind of injury before (ALL masseuses' are board certified). They said what I needed was a Deep Tissue massage. I glared at them like they were crazy and reiterated that I am in pain and discomfort. They got it, but proceeded. *From here on is the REVIEW of that experience: I walked in limping, and walked out a brand new person. The massage while painful at times (I used the breathing techniques and went somewhere else in my mind which caused me to lean into the pain and let them remove every bad part of what happens to a body from an injury release from my body. After the removal of the knots, bruising clots, tightly-scared muscles protecting the injury, being stretched, and all joints cracked/popped, I physically and spiritually lifted out of my body! No exaggeration here folks! Please know that I have a good masseuse here in the states that has put me back together after a couple of bad car accidents. In fact, I would tell you she is the ONLY person walking the earth that could ever help, but NOT until I met Consuelo at Spa Xel-Ha. To be lifted out of my body and feel so free, happy, energized, and like I was 12 years old again was LIFE CHANGING! Consuelo and this EXCELLENT Spa needs SUPER SPECIAL ATTENTION! I Should have known when I watched family after family walk in a certain way, and all walk out happy, thankful, and beaming that all would be okay! Long story made longer - I returned two days later (they would not let me come back sooner), and there I went....floating out of my body again! THANK YOU SPA XEL-HA! You will be in my heart and thoughts forever! I am home in the states now, completely changed and feeling amazing! I WILL RETURN OVER AND OVER FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! Cristina and Marissa did an excellent job for a one hour massage. The ambience is very nice and quiet with music in the background. The table is very comfortable, I’m a very big critic when it comes to massages, and their head rests are awesome. Your face is down but not smooshed. They did not go crazy on the oil which is nice, I hate that feeling of having oil all over my body and being super greasy when I leave a massage, they used the perfect amount here. These girls know their stuff and they provided excellent customer service and made us feel very welcome. I posted a card for anyone who wants to call for more info. One hour massage was $30. NO BUENO. We came by here after reading all of the great reviews. Our first time in Cabo, I wanted to get cleaned up before heading back to the US I purchased the package deal for a Manicure, Pedicure and a Massage for $70. They let me give the massageto my wife, and good thing they did. We started with the pedicure and she with the hour long massage. The girl that was taking care of my mani pedicure, OBVIOUSLY knows NOTHING about nails. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! My wife was done with her massage and we weren't even close to finishing the pedicure She went shopping while suffered through a marathon mani pedi. My advice, Google reviews are bogus.
