Fancied some noodles and rice style food and found this place that was within a 15 minute walk of our hotel in central Mexico City. There didn’t appear to be too much else in the area to know about it so glad we looked it up as well worth eating here.
Lovely design and feel to the restaurant - nice decoration and clearly put some thought into it
Menu had a range of choices which all sounded tasty, there were several things I wanted to order but went with the chilli chicken and partner had the special ramen. The food was nice, the chicken was really good being crispy coated in a nice sauce. For me it was too many chillis though (and I do like spicy food) so would probably go for satay or kung po next time instead. The ramen looked great and had a mix of flavours including seaweed which we love. For the ramen the noodles are small noodles more like packet noodles than say the option of udon but still nice (pad Thai would have been the flat kind I think and would have ordered that happily also) The mixed ramen included a piece of bacon as the pork element
For UK money this cost £25 for our 2 mains, 2 drinks and a tip so we felt good value
Would definitely recommend and happily eat here again …. If nearby...
Read moreHeard this recommended in a Mexico podcast and wanted to check it out. Really disappointed with the food. The nigiri fell apart, the tacos de pato were just a take on Chinese peking duck. The fideos de Cameron were the worse of all. Weak broth with raw celery and carrot, with some overcooked, chewy and tasteless camerones . The only plus was the fried aubergine dish. The waitress was slow and didn’t look like she wanted to be there at all. She didn’t provide us with napkins or any other cutlery besides a fork which made cutting the aubergine difficult. For some reason she didn’t serve my beer (a can) until after about 5 minutes. All this was strange bearing in mind there was only one other couple dining.
I’d avoid this restaurant and go to many of the other great looking...
Read moreAmazing experience ! The restaurant opened just a few days ago which explain the few reviews but it is truely worth it First of all the decor of the place is classy and warming, and the music has been chosen with a lot of taste I took the satay chicken and it was really great, lots of flavour, the rice was perfectly cooked and tasted like jasmin (it usually never does!) and it was truely the softest chicken I ever had. The chef explained me it was due to the marinade The service is excellent and the team really puts you at ease I paid 175 pesos for the dish which is really few compared to the quality of the dish I couldn’t recommend more this restaurant !! Good luck to the team, I’m certain it will become a host spot in a very short time since everything...
