I received my wedding band this week- a tiny two weeks after making my order! It is gorgeous and the perfect fit, not only for my finger but as a compliment to my engagement ring. The ring, and it's box, came in super protective packaging and along with fantastic service from the Austen and Blake team, really makes my band feel extra special. My consultation came about by chance. I hadn't booked! But Rochelle made time to see me, and spent time listening to what I felt I wanted in my ring. There was no pushing (which had been the case for many other stores sadly) and instead, Rochelle was inciteful and made the experience of choosing my band a really positive one. Read moreWe are really disappointed with the way we were treated by Austen & Blake. Even after previously purchasing an engagement ring from them and planning to buy our wedding rings along with diamond earrings, the experience was very unsatisfactory.
The price we were initially offered was later increased by nearly double, which felt misleading and unacceptable. Because of this, we decided not to proceed with either the wedding bands or the diamond earrings.
If you happen to speak or chat with Hugo, make sure to record every conversation and, if possible, keep all communication in writing over email. Ben as store manager did an awesome job trying to cover for his staff even when the evidence was against Hugo (Awesome work by Ben as Team manager but terrible work from customer’s point of view.) It was an easy, carefree process and better than some other companies that I got quotes from, also the cheapest too! I have never received such great customer service as I did dealing with Ben. The customs process is easy enough and dont worry you wont be charged the custom fees. I made contact on 18th Jan and Ben and I put inspirations together to send off to the design team. On 25th Jan a design was presented to me with different options and quotes and paid for on the same day. Item was personally delivered on 19th February by the lovely Michaela from the Auckland Branch, honestly these two are a dream team.
