I had appointment at 12.00. yes I was late bcz hardly to find the building. I called 2 times to ask for a direction or clue to get there like the nearest shop or building that might be ahelpful clue but answering machine was there. Then after 10 minutes I got a call. Once I arrived there I met the girl with unfriendly face and straight away took me to the room. Her name ELLA. She was so so so so rude. She didn't do the treatment well. I had Brazilian wax and of course it was painful. She didn't even give a break and when I was holding the pain she even didn't care and kept saying that must be keep going because it was my fault came late. Ohhh ..... Is she human being or ... When I asked her to pause for a while again she said can not bcz she has another appointment next schedule and keep on mentioning bcz I was late and should keep going no matter what. I didn't want to argue bc I don't want to ruin my mood, I had pain on my skin so I don't want to have another pain from the fight or argument. I shut my mouth. Then I asked her if possible to do armpit waxing as well she refused, I said what about at 3.15 if any booking and she said yes can do it at 3.15 When finish it was still left 7 minutes I said if possible to do it now while still got time bcz I guess 10 minutes should be enough. She refused she just left the room so impolite. Hey we pay not only for the treatment but please well behave with customers. You get the money from customers. We didn't pay small amount. For the Brazilian wax is $96. Then I came again for the armpit wax bcz I got no choice, again she gave a very unfriendly treatment. And about the payment my husband already put his credit card. As you put on your website that we can decide our payment, when I said use the credit card but she refused. So I paid using paywave. So rude. My husband so wondering at the end we come or not at the end both way can be deduct from credit card so why did she refuse.
The room is NOT as good as, NOT as clean as on the picture. Sticky and you were given a towel which you don't know if it's new and clean, pillow so stink, room so messy.
NOT RECOMMEND. PRETTY SURE WILL GO TO...
Read moreI was just visiting Auckland to attend a wedding and was needed to get a pedicure. This salon happened to be the closest one to where I was staying so I booked an appointment. For $60 I was expecting this to be a pretty amazing treatment but I was so disappointed.. first, the lady asked if I wanted to cut my toe nails and I said yes. Usually a therapist will trim them, not cut them all the way down... unfortunately, as the pedicure was given while I was laying down, I didn’t notice that she had chopped off my nails till it was too late. She also did zero cuticle work, even though this was specifically mentioned as included in the pedicure I paid for. She put on the shellac and then said ok you’re all done and walked out. I looked down at my feet and was pretty horrified. It was all blotchy and not evenly colored, and I had paint on my cuticles and actual chips on the end of the nails. When a girl came in to do my manicure I just said actually I don’t want it anymore but please fix my toes as this is not acceptable. She added another layer and it looked ok, but definitely not what I would expect from such an expensive treatment. All the polish on one toe came off the day after.. better off going to a...
Read moreLadies, spending over $100 is a lot of money. In fancy places like this my experience & humble feedback, there's no face massage or facial. It's putting cleanser, taking it off & exfoliating & taking it off and applying some scream & massaging the face for only 7 minutes then applying a face mask & taking it off & applying serum & 60 minutes done. This does nothing to your skin. That is something you could it at home. A good quality facial is where a skin carer will massage your face for at least 15 to 20 minutes. That circulates blood & recharges your facial muscles. All I felt was my face was used for applying all serums & creams. A lot of chemicals go into your skin instead of any face massage. I wasted $145 for nothing. My face still looked tired & sticky. I have had amazing and quality facials at Barclay and Aroma at Durham unfortunately they were busy and hence chose beauty refinery. Please don't be offended with my feedback , it is just how I felt and experience. and please do not take the feedback personally. IN my humbles opinion Barclay and Aroma are best when it comes down to quality facials unless you are getting botox and all the...
