HIKOCO Queen St — Local services in Waitematā

First time shopping at hikoco, it took me an hour to drive drive on peak hour and got to my destination at 6pm thinking it will close at 7pm, as shown on the website. I was so excited when i got to the store that i only had 2 minutes. I had to explain to the nice lady who spoke to me at the door, that told i had thought the store close at 7pm and drove so far to get here. she was so kind and very understanding and insisted to help me get what i wanted.

I was so happy with her customer service , she took her time and made sure i got the right product for my skin and made me feel comfortable. She was so patient when i got to the counter i did notice some other girls at the back packing to go home. And they weren’t smiling and didn’t look too happy. But i didn’t care and just focused on making sure i got what i needed. But the lady who served me stayed professional, i took in consideration and made sure not too stay too long but got what i need and leave. I got her name but i had forgotten it 😓 but i did tell her i will be back. very bad customer service, i visited them today, and two staff was just chitchatting, didn’t greet or anything not offered any help, infact was just blocking the view for photos and just talking, I told one of them that I need some help to find a product but she made a very furious face, neither helped me, just pointed to a direction where should i go to look for the product myself. after that those girls starts talking in their own language and one of them called me a crazy person very loud as if i will not hear, i was wearing headphones but nothing was playing i heard them very loud which was very bad experience and concerning, how can they call indian community crazy in front of all, those chicks should know how to do their job with professionalisam, i am not saying all staff are good but action should b taken against those two, i will never visit them again, just a racist staff...
