From the very moment you step into Mont Cervin Palace, you are greeted with an air of warmth and professionalism. The reception and welcome team are not only highly competent but also genuinely attentive, ensuring your first impression is nothing short of impeccable.
The entire hotel staff, particularly the restaurant team, display a remarkable level of efficiency, precision, and grace. Service is swift, refined, and delivered with an evident sense of pride. Every detail is attended to with the utmost care.
As for the rooms, they are nothing less than splendid—warm, impeccably clean, and exceedingly comfortable. Housekeeping is meticulous, ensuring daily thorough cleaning and even an evening turndown service. It’s these thoughtful touches that elevate the experience to a true luxury standard. Additionally, the bathrooms are of excellent quality, with a notable mention for the presence of a bidet, which is an uncommon yet very appreciated feature.
A highlight worth mentioning is the ski room. The concierge in charge is not only exceptionally capable but observant and passionate about their role, making ski preparations seamless. The ski room being located in the same area as the sports shop is a notable convenience and adds to the overall ease of the experience.
The pool area is another delight—warm, spotless, and with a variety of options. There’s a lovely pool for children, complete with thoughtful treats and amenities. For those seeking relaxation, there are both indoor and outdoor pools, including one with a jacuzzi, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes.
Concierge services at Mont Cervin Palace are exemplary. They go above and beyond to ensure every request is met with diligence and finesse.
Having visited Zermatt six times, I can confidently say that Mont Cervin Palace offers a superior experience for those seeking an elevated standard of hospitality. The hotel’s restaurants are exquisite, offering a fine dining experience that matches the overall quality of the establishment.
If I may make one suggestion: taxi fares have been rather high this year. A shuttle service to the cable cars would be a most welcome addition, further enhancing the convenience of staying here.
In sum, Mont Cervin Palace epitomizes refined luxury and attentive service. For anyone considering a visit to Zermatt, it is, without a doubt, an...
Read moreHotel Mont Cervin is located on the main promenade in Zermatt. We were brought to the hotel by an electric car, but a horse-drawn carriage is also available. There are always enough people working at the reception, so we never had to wait upon arrival or during our stay. The concierge team was always ready to help too. Upon arrival, the room was very nicely prepared with a nice sweet surprise (cookies, candies, fruit and champagne). This time we booked an Alpine suite - without a view of the Matterhorn. The room was very clean, all toiletries were always properly refilled, towels changed, the floor was clean. However, the evening cleaning was not what we were used to in this hotel in the past. Every evening we had to find a housekeeper to prepare beds for our children, no one changed our slippers during the entire stay (despite the fact that we had them wet from the wellness), no one filled the minibar with soft drinks either…There are several things that the hotel should be aware of. The hotel has a beautiful and clean wellness area, where you can find a swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), whirlpools (indoor and outdoor), dry sauna, bio sauna, odorium, caldarium and relaxation room. Water, lemonade, teas, fruit and nuts are also available. Our stay was booked with breakfast, which was above standard. In addition to the buffet tables (where you can find the standard selection, but also many fruits and fresh juices), a menu is also available, in which you can also find avocado toast, eggs benedict, pancakes, waffles and much more (no need to pay anything extra). Every morning we were greeted by the lovely Miss Giovanna or the kind Mr. Giovanni - they are people who have worked here for many years and we always look forward to seeing them. We also tried the hotel's Joseph's bar (you can read more in our next review). The Capri hotel restaurant was closed this time. This was our first visit in this hotel under the new ownership of Michel Reybier. We will definitely come back here. More on instagram...
