I never write reviews but for this venue I just have to send out a warning to anyone considering a haircut while in BKK. This place is an absolute scam.

I picked it despite it s mediocre reviews because it s close to my hotel and offered Korean haircut services as I have been living in Korea and been getting the same haircut for 7-8 years across different venues and countries. My usual intervals are 3-4 weeks and thought I might give this place a shot as I had some spare time whilst on vacation in BKK. So I do have a pretty good idea what to expect when getting a trim and not an entire makeover.

But from the get go, the male hair stylist seemed to have no clue what he was doing! I mean already how he was starting to cut my hair, the speed of his hands, the ‘mastery’ of basic haircutting skills or lets say the lack thereof, and just simply not being able to follow my instructions when I asked him several times that I just needed a trim from 4 weeks of no haircut and not a makeover.

Im pretty sure this person has never visited an entire hair styling course let alone a hair styling school. I would even claim he hasnt even watched some youtube videos on basic haircutting skills. He should not be taking money for this!

If you have been to different hair stylist, always getting the same haircut, you just know if somebody isnt on top of things. Frankly, I assume in Thailand there is no certification for hair styling - unthinkable in Korea!

I even told him what I absolutely dont want styling wise and ta-ta, i ended up with exactly that. Also post down perm, he told me to not wash my hair for 3 days. Why? First time I ever received that recommendation…

At the beginning I asked him how this salon was Korean and he answered ‘the owner is Korean’. Not sure if this is even true but if so, then he is the cause of all evil since he hired a clueless person and charging ridiculous prices for the quality of services.

Halfway through the final blow dry and almost 2h of wasted time (usually this should take 1h all-in incl 2 washes in Korea), I stood up, paid my THB 1000 (this is a lot more expensive than most places in Korea!) and told him that I have no more desire to tell him what or what not to do with my hair and that the result is an absolute failure for which they could read the full review on Google and reflect.

Searched for a place that has a hair spa on a Sunday whim and found this place. Opted for the Korean hair spa at 699 baht. The 2 male assistants and the Korean owner were working that day. They spoke little English but were very sweet, endearing and so enthusiastic to help us understand what is inclusive of the hair spa despite the language barrier.

The hair spa was deliciously amazing. They used a device that lightly scratches your scalp that made us have tingly feel good goosebumps. After the wash they blow dry and then apply some citrus smelling hair tonic to the scalp very evenly and thoroughly with an airbrush.

Hair was left feeling so smooth and soft and smelling so good after. They even ask you how you want your hair styled (straight or wavy) before you leave the salon.

The whole time they were so friendly, cheerful and helpful. The new Korean owner took over this 5 year old salon just a year ago, so you can ignore the old bad reviews because that did not sound like...

I make a called to ask for availability to do my hair cut and will arrive in about 2 mins because I'm just in the building. They said they are available and I can go now. But after I arrived they’re not available as said. Have 2 customers in the salon doing haircut and curling already halfway. I ask Thai lady how long i have to wait, she said about 10 mins. So I just wait, after that in 5 mins have another customer walk in and ask for korean profession to do her hair cut, Thai lady immediately make a call and profession just arrived in 5 mins. So disappointed. Why the shop not even ask me that they have a choice for Korean profession and i dont have to keep waiting??! Even it not the same price maybe I happy...
